Since good ol' Garchomp has been sentenced to death in Ubers, I had to revise my OU team to fit the new standards. I'd like to see all of your opinions if you have good experience in D/P competitive battling. And before you say anything, I don't abbreviate anything, so I'm going to write out the EVs with full words and I don't use any slang, I also post my sets a little differently, without the @ symbol. I also put every pokemon's ability down even if they don't have a second one. Also, my team is on the offensive side, just a note.

    Okay....

    Tyranitar
    Item: Expert Belt
    Ability: Sand Stream
    Nature: Brave
    EVs: 252 Attack / 232 Special Attack / 24 Speed

    -Fire Blast
    -Ice Beam
    -Crunch
    -Earthquake

This set is great for smashing counters and breaking walls like Blissey and Bronzong. I chose Earthquake over Stone Edge mainly for more type coverage, because I want my Tyranitar to be able to switch into most pokes and tear them up. This set hits super effective on the following types: (Flying, Ground, Steel, Psychic, Ghost, Bug, Grass, Dragon, Fire, Ice, Electric, and Rock). This Tyranitar might be slow but its not too bad of a problem for me.

    Starmie
    Item: Choice Specs
    Ability: Natural Cure
    Nature: Modest
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Special Attack / 252 Speed

    -Hydro Pump
    -Grass Knot
    -Ice Beam
    -Thunderbolt

This set is beast, no doubt. I love it, the good ol' Specstar set is great. I went with Hydro Pump because of its STAB power (I know Surf has STAB) for more power than Surf, even though its accuracy is a little shaky, I'm still not scared away from it. Grass Knot for Tyranitars with Pursuit, I want to be able to make the Tyranitar's suffer if they do switch in. Ice Beam is self-explanatory and Thunderbolt is too.

    Azelf
    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Levitate
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 36 HP / 252 Special Attack / 220 Speed

    -Nasty Plot
    -Psychic
    -Flamethrower
    -Hidden Power Fighting

Azelf, my team's special sweeper. This is a pretty standard set. Standard EV spread, also. It works well, I went with Leftovers instead of Life Orb so my Azelf would have increased survivablity while sacrificing the life orb boost because I thought that the Nasty Plot boost would be enough to carry this Azelf a long, hard-hitting way. I went with Psychic and Flamethrower for obvious reasons, I plan to Nasty Plot once and proceed with whatever move applicable for the time.

    Metagross
    Item: Lum Berry
    Ability: Clear Body
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 208 HP / 76 Attack / 224 Special Defense

    -Stealth Rock
    -Pursuit
    -Meteor Mash
    -Earthquake

    *image removed*
    Heracross
    Item: Choice Band
    Ability: Guts
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 104 HP / 252 Attack / 152 Speed

    -Close Combat
    -Megahorn
    -Stone Edge
    -Night Slash

This set just makes me slobber. Its just beastly, even more beastly than my Life Orb Tyranitar, I'm using him for super effective coverage against Psychic types and to tear into anything else that is in Heracross's path that I'm not worried about. This set provides great coverage and power. If Guts is activated my Heracross gets an even bigger boost. Close Combat and Megahorn are both 120 base power moves and are assisted by STAB also. Stone Edge can 2HKO most of Heracross's flying fears. Night Slash is there for the high critical hit ratio and for anytime its needed.

    Salamence
    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Intimidate
    Nature: Jolly
    EVs: 224 HP / 12 Attack / 192 Defense / 80 Speed

    -Dragon Dance
    -Dragon Claw
    -Roost
    -Earthquake

    Metagross
    Item: Lum Berry
    Ability: Clear Body
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 208 HP / 76 Atk / 224 Sp.D

    -Stealth Rock
-Reflect / Bullet Punch / Pursuit
    -Meteor Mash
    -Earthquake / Bullet Punch

Id use this as a lead since it is a great one. Lum Berry lets you smack around sleep inducing leads and set up SR (Which is pretty much needed on offensive teams). Meteor Mash + BP will let you get a heads up on Focus Sash suicide leads etc or you can just set up Reflect to support your team. This is also a VERY useful check for Gengar and Deoxys-s (who you are weak to), which is why Pursuit can be useful. SO you effectively "trap" them with BP + Pursuit =p.

    Tyranitar
    Item: Expert Belt
    Ability: Sand Stream
    Nature: Brave
    EVs: 252 Attack / 232 Special Attack / 24 Speed

    -Fire Blast
    -Ice Beam
    -Crunch
    -Earthquake

Since Tyranitar can generally take a hit i really prefer Expert Belt >> LO on this unless im passing speed since it lets him live longer.

    Starmie
    Item: Choice Specs
    Ability: Natural Cure
    Nature: Modest
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Special Attack / 252 Speed

    -Hydro Pump
    -Grass Knot
    -Ice Beam
    -Thunderbolt

    Sure XD

    Azelf
    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Levitate
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 36 HP / 252 Special Attack / 220 Speed

    -Nasty Plot
    -Psychic
    -Flamethrower
    -Grass Knot

Grass Knot is eh... I prefer HP Fighting so you can smack around Heatran, T-Tar etc, but w/e.

    Heracross
    Item: Choice Band
    Ability: Guts
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 104 HP / 252 Attack / 152 Speed

    -Close Combat
    -Megahorn
    -Stone Edge
    -Night Slash

    Yay.

    Salamence
    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Intimidate
    Nature: Jolly
    EVs: 224 HP / 12 ATT / 192 DEF / 80 Speed

    -Dragon Dance
    -Dragon Claw
    -Earthquake
    -Roost

Id use bulky dd mence here since you have Lucario and fighting pokemon problems in general, this can take hits from them whlst still allowing you to sweep. Evs allow you to outspeed Neutral nature Lucario.

    Comments in bold.

Well Gyarados is the one main threat that stands out to me and also DD Tyranitar.

Choice Scarfing that Heracross with max speed / att would allow you to revenge kill Tyranitar amongst other threats, so you could consider that.

As for Gyarados, you could use Offensive Suicune >> Starmie to help with this. (Since starmie gets OHKO's by LO Gyarados =p).

    Suicune@Leftovers
    252 HP / 104 SP.ATT / 152 SPEED
    Modest Nature
    - Calm Mind
    - Surf / Hydro Pump
    - Ice Beam
    - Hidden power Electric.

And just a note : - No one uses Item clause.

    Anyways, it looks pretty cool.

Yay for the fact no one uses item clause here! Now, I can fix up my team according to how you corrected it, I'm ditching the Starmie for sure, I'm going to get a Suicune through migration and fix it up with that CMcune set.

Also, I agree with you on the Metagross, I need an SR set up pokemon but I was just too focused on attacking power >_< I'll change that.

I'll just teach the Azelf hidden power, since it has the right IVs for it.

Also, yay for finding me something to do with that louzy Salamence, he was just a filler, really, I didn't know what to do with him because I thought you people played with item clause.

I'll fix all of those things. All of your suggestions were unargueable. Thanks for all your help.

    Salamence
    Item: Yache Berry
    Ability: Intimidate
    Nature: Modest

    -Draco Meteor
    -Hydro Pump
    -Flamethrower
    -Hidden Power Ground
No, no. If you're going to use Draco Meteor, the rest of your moves are going to be physical. (+DD if you prefer)

Don't worry thats been completely changed, read my past post and Dark Azelf's. My Salamence has a complete DDMence set.

EDIT: I am now finished changing my team according to Dark Azelf's suggestions. I have edited my first post now.

Very good team, however, on Heracross, a fun thing to do is put Facade on it. With a Guts boost, and that already beastly attack; Heracross has even fewer counters. A Facade from a status'd Hera does 46.41%-54.79% to Max HP/Max Def Weezing. With TTar's Sandstorm, it ALWAYS 2HKO's. Gliscor isn't safe either; as the same attack does 43.79%-51.69%

I like that idea. I'm definitely putting Facade in my new Heracross's set, which I am currently breeding for an Adamant nature. Thanks for the tip Vance, sounds good, because a guaranteed 2HKO on HP/Max Defense Weezing sounds insanely good, to good to pass up.

It's seriously good, and you already handle Dusknoir well since Noir'll likely Fire Punch once he WoW's, giving you a free switch to TTar.

I did so because Dusknoir with WoW was giving me a real pain a few weeks back. I had to do something about it. But yeah, I agree with you on this one, Facading Heracross sounds great, I have yet to get another Heracross with the Adamant nature yet >_<
