I haven't experienced much lag lately. Maybe a few hiccups, but I think as Team Fail said, it's probably just due to excessive use possibly. PC is always known for finding some reason to act up. I usually just go with the flow and ignore it, considering I've been here off and on for nearly eleven years. :P
