I'm doing a little post game stuff of Emerald, just because I think it would be fun. I actually did the Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza fights. Lol. I also went through the Trick House, because I forgot to during the playthrough. Oops. Zara and Aegis were both level 72 before the fight. I could have used a few more Rare Candies, but, y'know. That makes things more easier and therefore, more boring.
Oh yeah, also going to avoid using Revives. I think it's fair.

Fire Monotype Challenge: Part 54 - Fire and Steel
Trainer Name: Seb

Generation: III (on Emerald)

Battle With Steven:
- First up is Skarmory. I plan to have Aegis take care of three Pokemon, and Zara will beat the other three. Skarmory was an almost OHKO with Flamethrower, but it's not like it can do much to Aegis.
- He's going to... METAGROSS ALREADY? Geez. Switching to Zara. Flamethrower got Metagross to the yellow, but I wasn't expecting a KO. Then he used Psychic. I crossed my fingers hoping for Zara to live, and... she survives with 25 HP because she's awesome. Outsped Metagross to take it down.
- Back to Aegis for Aggron. Healed up Zara first, while Aggron used Earthquake. Thank goodness for Aegis's great Defense. Healed while Aggron missed with Thunder, and then used Flamethrower, which did about half. Earthquake does just about half to me as well, but Aegis's health is still in the green. I decided to risk a Flamethrower (even Aggron is faster than Aegis), and Earthquake leaves me with just 13 HP. I'm getting good at this.
- Now to Claydol. I'm still sticking with Aegis. Healed up while Claydol used Ancient Power. Didn't do too much. It used Earthquake. Meh. I tried for a Flamethrower just as the thing set up Light Screen. Gr. Luckily, my Flamethrower actually critical'd, sending Claydol to the red. Steven healed up, of course, so I decided to use Toxic. Return and Flamethrower aren't doing any damage at all. Insert a few turns of healing until... Steven heals again? What? Claydol wasn't even in the red. Rinse and repeat. The thing sets up both Light Screen and Reflect. It finally dies to poison.
- The last two are for Zara. First up is Cradily. Sky Uppercut does a nice amount while Cradily confuses me. I used a Full Heal while Steven used another Full Restore. How many does he have? Geez. This time, Sky Uppercut criticals and defeats Cradily.
- Last up is Armaldo. The stupid thing has Aerial Ace and Water Pulse. After a few turns of healing and attacking, I was left with 33 HP, and I finished it with Flamethrower. Well, it's over. The epic fight is over.
