I'm pretty sure they aren't illegal.

Roms are only Illegal if you don't own a legit copy of the games, And ofcourse I know of roms, I used to use them all the time, or to try out a game before I buy it. But I don't have an active computer thats mine, But I'm getting a new laptop this month, so I could do it then I guess.

-Got a drink for the guard, and bought a Water Stone
-Got Eevee, Evolved it into a Vaporeon, named it Aqid
-Found out about a hidden hideout
-Cleared the Hideout
-Pizza evolved to Blastoise
-Owned Giovanni
-Got the Sliph Scope
-Now im up for another fun challenge The Grass Gym of Erika
-First battle, first pokemon... POISENED
-In the end, i ended up powning Erika and i got the Rainbowbadge!

Kanto part 2: 8/3/10- Mt Moon

Ok after i beat Brok the soft rock, i headed out to Mt Moon. Skipped half the trainers for exp later. (no fire types till celadon :-( ) Went thhrough Mt Moon (goddamn zubats) evolved 2 Charmeleon!and realised that their are gazillions of rockets in there (skipped half of them too) and beat te nerd. Got the dome fossil cos it sounds kwl (meh) and got outts there! Saved just before nugget bridge.

So here's the story -

- Got my starter, Squirtle. Nicknamed it Koopa :D Future Surf slave
- Raced to Viridian Forest and did some hunting...
- ... then I found a Weedle. Caught that, called it Mr B and began to train
- Accidentally caught a Pidgey (I meant to use a Potion). Future Fly slave though
- Mr B evolved and learned Harden
- Then it evolved again :D And learned Fury Attack
- Got through Viridian Forest with no trouble (though a crafty Pikachu did Paralyze Mr B right at the end)
- Challenged the Pewter Gym:

I fought the first trainer for experience, however Mr B's moveset isn't exactly ideal - so I'll have a bash at Brock when he's much stronger.

The Story so far -

- After Mr B grew to lv 14, I realised training any further was going to be tedious. I decided to have a crack at Brock:

I had a strategy in place: that was try and Poison the opponent and then wittle it down bit by bit. In a few turns, Mr B managed to Poison Geodude with Poison Sting. After that I used a Potion and maxed out on Defense with Harden. It worked, and Geodude eventually fainted. Out came Onix, but luck was on my side as Mr B managed to Poison it in one hit. With no more need for Harden, I used Fury attack to deal as much damage possible (and the odd String Shot to lower Onix's speed after Mr B was hit with Rock Tomb.) Eventually I won relitavely well off

- Made my way to the Pokecentre just outside Mt. Moon. Saved there

I've done a bit more on my Fighting challenge, I've just beaten Norman. Wattson was pretty easy. Pogg (Makuhita) took out Magnemite with Fake Out and a few Arm Thrusts. Voltorb got burned both literally and metaphorically by Cranberry the Combusken. And the Magneton fell to the great Leech Seed and Mach Punch from Marley (Breloom). And then Pogg evolved right after the battle!

Flannery was much harder. Damn Torkoal and its insane defences. The two Slugma were easy, Pogg's Rock Tomb showed them the door. But that Torkoal... the video will show it in greater detail, but it involved a lot of switching and healing and getting annoyed with parattraction hax and Flannery's liberal use of Super Potions. It ended up with me just having Breloom left, I thought I was doomed but it had already used Overheat twice and so its special was to low for it to do too much damage. Leech Seed saved me again, coupled with some Headbutts.

I then went and beat the crap out of my abusive father or something. He had Normal types, I had Fighting types. It was kinda poetic. I let each of my guys take one of his each - Pogg beat the first Slaking, Cranberry beat the Vigoroth, and Breloom handled the second Slaking (Leech Seed is the shizz). I got Surf from Wally's dad afterwards, and went to teach it to my Zigzagoon slave and... huh? Hariyama can learn SURF?! That is truly awesome. I know Hariyama's Spcl Atk sucks, but so does Hitmonchan's and an almost all-special moveset worked for him in Crystal. So I taught him Surf, saved and wrote up this update.

Starting to fall behind the others in terms of power. Double Kick is OK but Ember and Peck are too weak to do anything good unless they're super-effective.

Probably MVP so far, Leech Seed is one of my favourite moves and continues to impress. I don't know what to replace Bullet Seed with, it can't stay forever but there aren't really any other options when it comes to Grass-type moves. Giga Drain only has 5PP and Solarbeam requires a charge-up turn. I may implement a Sunny Day combo that would benefit Cranberry as well, but I'm not sure.

Pogg (Hariyama)

A right powerhouse. Rock Tomb has (and I imagine Surf will) come in useful for coverage. Needs a better STAB move than Arm Thrust.

Went through union cave to get to azeala town.
Finally caught a slowpoke, though I didn't like him, so he is called "Brain-Dead"
threw totodile in PC
got trashed by Rival. (I only had one pokemon... while he has three...)
Eventually beat him after level grinding.
Got cut HM.
Beat gym.
Got through Illex forest.
Caught an abra and Drowzee on the route before Goldenrod.
Decided to keep going, but then I realized I needed to beat the gym leader here, too.
Tried, failed.
Level grinded, then succeeding.
Abra and Drowzee evolved somewhere in this chain of events.(The kadabra still only knows teleport, so that made it harder to beat whitney. that and rollout...)
got rid of the sudowudo blocking my path.
Got to ekruteak.
Beat the kimino ladies.
Obtained "Surf" HM
Inspected burned tower, battling rival and meeting eusine along the way.
Released Suicune and others.
Went back to Goldenrod, Retrieving an evee.(Will evolve it into a Espeon quickly.)
Went through an alternate exit to Union cave, finally getting to the grass containing the elusive Natu.
Saved.

Dunno, none of them naturally learn the move, I guess. I'll teach one of them the TM. I'm really not experienced with the poison type. I never play with it. Ever. XD I decided to do this ultimate challenge to familiarize myself with it.
