Ultimate Monotype Challenge

Heres My new update:

---I headed to Mt.Moon and trained Blue. He evolved.
---Bought the oh-so magnificent.....Magikarp. Named him Navy.
---I tried leveling him up. It was HARD.
---I pushed through Mt.Moon and got the Dome Fossil.
---I headed on to Cerulean. Water types, YAY!!!
---I whooped Trey and headed up the Nugget Bridge.

Well I made some progress with my Poison Challenge. I defeated misty easily with Ivysaur and Oddish, who is a Gloom now.
Lt. Surge was easy, as I taught Arbok Dig, which I used to defeat his Pokemon.
I am currently in Celadon, will buy a Leaf Stone to save for Gloom, and will defeat erika easily.

I started a poison challenge this afternoon. Im currently in vermillion city and my team is:

Beat Bruce. - Even Easier
Beat Agatha. - Ah...Was easy the first time...But then I got rid of psychic for blizzard..Harder..But I pulled through.
Beat Lance. - Took a couple of resets...But I did it.

Facing rival...

I just can't beat him...Nearly all of his pokes are against my fighting types..

Pidgeot - Alakazam - Charizard

They're the main 3 that I jus can't beat...

Argh help me...

And whats worse..I've run out of full restores...If I had enough I could beat him.

Any tips please?

Korova, as a fellow fighting friend, it'd be best to grind yourself silly in Victory Road. You need to survive at least ONE psychic from Alakazam in order to destroy it. Trust me, you need high health and high defenses.

It was probably a lot easier for me considering I used yellow, but hopefully you can handle it with a lot of grinding.

Try getting VBA TradeLink to trade one of the Machokes so to evolve it.
 
Yeah but I'm not using a VBA...

I'm using a GBA xD

Gawd I hate grinding though xD..

But,

I guess it's the only way :(
 
Also, since Fighting types have high attack stats, why not put Hyper Beam on one of them? It'll knock out Alakazam then you could switch out before it needs to recharge. (I'd suggest Return, but there's only one of those in the game and I like to save my TMs. :P)

---I obtained the Cascade Badge from Misty because of Navy's Bite attack.
---I recovered the stolen Dig TM and am now on my way to Vermillion Port.

Um...hey! May i do Fire for Kanto plz? Im using Firered. so thats appropriate! :)

lol i have all the blue, red, and yellow, but they dont work, and i dont thin GSC works either :(

but i have a sapphire :). so if after red i cant get one of my GSC working, ill go to Hoen. That oakay¸?
 
Alright well..... I got a tad bit wrapped up in the game and forgot that i was actually supposed to post.... in fact I just beat Red.... albeit i had A LOT of luck but still with the right move sets I beathim on my second try.

E4
Will- Semi easy i took him out pretty quickly with no fainting.

Bruno- Same pretty much no Faints here just use Goddess and Milkshake.

Koga- Easy as pie.... most of his poisoning was annoying but he still didn't pose a true challenge... if memory serves he fainted my milkshakes due to a lucky crit..... jerk....

Karen- Once agian really not that hard to beat i pretty much wiped the floor with her the only challenge of hers was the gengar.

Lance- My only real challenge for the E4 but, luckily i had a lot of ice punch tms lying around and I gave half my pokemon ice punch.

Kanto Gyms

Surge- Annoying Raichu but once it fainted it was an easy win

Sabrina- Owned by goddess and shadow ball

Erika- Grass... psshh luckily I hadent removed all the ice punch moves....

Kogas daughter whos name escapes me- Easiest one Goliath one shot KOed all of them with return.

Misty- Nothing major she killed one of my pokemon with her starme but besides that standard win.

Brock- Ice punch away and a won :D

Blue(Because i forgot how to get to Blaine)- Most Challenging of them all but after I lost 3 pokemon I finally ended his rain of terror with my new MUNCHIE :D

Blaine(poor fellow)- Well he was easy I lost one pokemon due to fire blast but still not to hard.

MT.SILVER CHALLENGE

Red- The only battle I've ever had this much challenge beating... Pikachu was a one shot KO with earthquake from Goliath but then espeon anihilated half my team no problem..... finished him with Goddess who was in turn beaten by Reds Snorelax ( GARRH I HATE HIM)
2nd try- Well this time I got smart and after grinding each pokemon to level 60 and using strategy I beat him without losing a single pokemon once Snorelax was out fo the way it was a quick sweep ( THANK YOU CRITICAL HIT DYNAMIC PUNCH!)

Crystal, COMPLETE!!!!!!

This was, and probably will be, by far, the most dreaded of the 4 generations I'll play through in this challenge. Why? Because as the Grass type, it's not too easy going up against a Charizard TWICE!!! However, not only is this the first time I beat Red as only one type, but it's also the most underleveled battle I've ever won against him.
