Oh is that so? I always thought Gible was only in the second level of the cave. Maybe it is different in Platinum.

I can only get up to Glacia right now before blacking out, I'll have to train more. <_<

In Diamond and Pearl you'll need Strength to get Gible, but in Platinum you can get one without having to use Strength, as the boulders are completely removed in Wayward Cave.

Alternative, you can catch a Gabite in Victory Road, although that requires waiting for a while, which is no fun. :P

Yeah, but I gan get Strength in some spooky tower I don't remember the name while I get to Veilstone, and I have to return to Hearthome to challenge Fantina, so guess I can do that on the way.
I hope by that time it appears at lv 17 or 20 and is easy to train.

Plus, I'm thinking about catching a Steelix at Victory Road, so I could catch a Gabite there, but I think it's better to catch a Gible at Wayward Cave to train it from scratch.

well since my last post i have beaten my rival duffman in the pokemon tower (fourth time), beat giovani in game corner (first time), catched an slowpoke and got a jynx from in game trade, beat ericka, catched exeggute, evolve exeggute, catch a staryu, evolve staryu, beat koga, beat rival in silph co., beat giovani in silph co., (second time) beaten the dojo master and beaten sabrina. Ultimate Monotype Challenge - Flying - Kanto - Part 1
Started my adventure doing a bit of naming. Named myself Puff and my rival Afro. Went out of my house and took one step into the grass when all of a sudden, Prof. Oak brought me back to his laboratory. He let me choose a Pokemon, and I chose Charmander, nicknaming him Jizzy. Destroyed my rival and got the Parcel in Viridian. Recieved a Pokedex and a Town Map back in Pallet Town. Trained Jizzy for a while, then headed out in search of a Caterpie. Finally found one, and nicknamed him Sniper. After a long bit of training, I got Sniper to evolve into Butterfree. Went out and caught Pidgey, Rattata, Spearow, Weedle, Nidoran(F), and Nidoran(M). I proceed to challenge my Rival, and owned him. Ready to get to the next part of my adventure by venturing into Viridian Forest.

If you approve, I'll do fighting. I'll have to beat Red :/ and then I'll go straight to Sapphire.
