Hang on - wasn't Repiv in the Emerald LP and Heavy G in the Crystal? How did they fight together?

In truth, they didn't, but it was still Repiv that struck down Gatorface. Remember the surprise ending?

O_o

I don't know; I just noticed that Poison, Fighting, & Fire are all gone. Perhaps the guy who made them deleted them. :/

Okay, I'm going to have to have a go at making some of my own. Or if there's anyone else out there who's better than me, let me know if you're willing to help here. ^^

We need the three I mentioned above, as well as Dragon & Ice, which we have never had.

EDIT: Okay, I made an attempt at some new banners, for Water, Fire, and Grass:

There we go. If you guys like them, I'll go ahead and have at go at the others as well. ^^

Sounds very fun, but I bet it'll be real challenging! I'll go with Flying, seeing as every game has some flying type early on. I'll use Fire Red instead of regular Red, (same with Gold eventually) just because it's more visually appealing :P

I think I'll try this too.

I guess I'll choose Water and start with my LeafGreen.

Alrighty, got my game warmed up, and here's what's happened so far.

I chose Squirtle as my starter. (shocker!)
Battled rival twice. His Pidgey is a pain. It always spams Sand-Attack. >:(
Got to Pewter City and beat Brock.
Squirtle evolved. (yes!)
On my way to Cerulean!

My Team:

Wartortle-Lv 17
Tackle
Bubble
Water Gun
Withdraw.

Well after some tedious training for my Pidgey (now Pidgeotto), I finally beat Brock! As if fighting Rock types with a Pidgeotto wasn't enough of a pain in the ass, those Geodudes had to use Defense Curl 50% of the time, so Quick Attack barely put in a dent each time. Also I happened to have no Potions and no money to buy any. My strategy was basically use a couple of Sand Attacks, then start spamming the Quick Attacks, and pray Onix doesn't use Rock Tomb.

Here's my team, though Pidgeotto's the only one I can use:

Pidgeotto - Lv18
Tackle
Sand-Attack
Gust
Quick Attack

Squirtle - Lv7
Tackle
Tail Whip
Bubble

Caterpie - Lv4 (maybe I can eventually evolve it to Butterfree with Rare Candies)
Tackle
String Shot

From now on I guess I'll just post the Flying types in my party. Wish I could use images :(

I'd like to try this, but one question, for HM's are we allowed to have a HM slave or something for the parts we MUST use surf or something for?

One more quick question would Firered/Leafgreen be okay to start on? My original Gameboy is broken and I only have a DS lite otherwise so I can't play GB games.
But its basically the same game right?

EDIT:
Seen people doing so.
So I'll take... erm...
Hm...

Normal! <3. Lots of cute pokemon there and a huge challenge as no elemental advantages. (Hardly except for minor moves learned).
And starting on Leafgreen/Firered!

I'd like to join in as well. I currently don't have a gameboy and would like to be able to play on the go so I am pretty much stuck to playing on my Fire Red at first. I'll give ghost type a run cause I love them despite their ridiculous rarity in the first two gens. I know it was mentioned very early on that multiples of a single pokemon could/should-in-this-case be used, but I think I'll give it an honest try with just one of each unless it turns out impossible.

EDIT: After starting it and getting a way back in I realized that playing on FR ruins a lot of the nostalgic fun I could get from this, so I will stick with my computer and a good old copy of regular Red.

well my gameboy is broken and i would like to play this is on the go, so probably not, but could i use the hack shiny gold? cause i have a gba emulator on my my phone.. if not ill just use my computer

Sorry for the lack of updates guys, I've had some terrible personal things in irl... =/
BUT NOW I IS BACK!!!!11111!1!!

And to celebrate it, I shall take up a new type to mono on.
My favourite type is poison, but so many people is doing it, that it's not funny anymore =/.
Grass is out of question... So is Ice, Ghost, Steel, Dragon and Dark...
Normal is out too... Ground, Fire, Electric, Water join the bin as well...
Sooo, I'm left with...
Fighting
Flying
Bug
Rock
Psychic

Flying, Bug and Psychic go to the final round...
*Drum roll* And the winner iiiis:
FLYING!!!

So, now I will continue on my Bug type mono, take a Flying type mono and ditch the Grass mono, because grass is boring... >_<

Johto is nearly done on my Normal Challenge. I just beat the league. Not that much of a challenge, the hardest part really was getting that elusive Tauros. May update later with team, if I remember.

Player: mondays suck
Type: Dragon
Badges: 0
Generation: IV (Platinum)
Location: Jubilife

Almost a month after I finished Bug, I have finally continued on my Dragon challenge today. After 30 minutes of playing, in which I fought maybe 6 or 7 battles and the rest was pure A-Button-mashing, I am in Jubilife, have finally finished the annoying beginning part by getting the clock thingy and have a Level 10 Chimchar. Still a pretty long way to go until I can get a Gible... (I hope Platinum was the one in which that doesn't require Strength, otherwise I might have a problem)
