Ice Monotype Challenge - Session II - Fire Red
I've progressed a lot since my last update. Last time I had just reached Vermillion and today I am standing before the Victory Road. I will finish my challenge tomorrow and then move on to playing Emerald. I'm leaving SoulSilver for last because of Red and how long that game actually is.
Anyhow...
- Beat Surge with mostly Danielle and Janet
- Beat Erika with ease
- Cleared the team rocket madness from the Game Corner and the Pokemon Tower
- Cleared the Silph Co. and got myself a Lapras! She's named Helena.
- Beat Koga with ease (Janet's Psychic)
- Beat Sabrina, was a little hard
- Beat Blaine with Danielle's Surf
- Went to One Island and trained Clang, reached level 50 and evolved him to a Cloyster
- Finished the sidequests in there
- Beat Giovanni with ease
- Defeated Rival
- Saved befdore the Victory Road.

@Reshiram Man: Yes. To go on to the next game, you have to beat the head champion. In three of the four generations, the head champion is the league champion. In G/S/C/HG/SS, this is Red in Mount Silver.

OK guys, so the other day I got pretty bored and decided to start a challenge again, but since I'm not a big fan of Hoenn, I went with the RBY Gym Leader Challenge,

Unfortunately, no one has posted in that thread besides me, and I got fed up of waiting when I got four badges and still no one posted (note that I'm a slooow player, especially with challenges), so I'm back :nervous:

I [think I] remember having posted one or maybe two updates for the Hoenn part of my challenge. Problem is that apparently, I continued with my challenge one night in an (extremely) inebriated state (lol), and I have absolutely no recollection of how I got to where I am at this point.
(Yes, I opened the rom in my computer and was like lolwtf? And I KNOW it was me since it was still monotype, ain't I faithful? :P)

I lost all my data, and my Emulator got a problem, though I couldn't fix it for weeks. THOUGH I NOW FIXED IT! So now I've restarted my game. I'm gonna update when I get further from where I was last time.

-Taught Badrang Surf over Mud Slap it is now not needed since I beat Morty
-Headed east to Route 38 to catch my next team members
-Found a Miltank easily enough. Caught it and called it Daisy
-Snubbull was a bit more of a pain. Grinded Daisy to level 27 while looking for one and after a long while I finally found one. Named it Blue after the Butler University Mascot (:
-Taught some TM's to my team members. Tsuchinoko got Rollout over Pursuit as it is now not needed since I beat Morty. Taught Rudolph Return over Stomp. Taught both Daisy and Blue Headbutt. Taught Blue Shadow Ball and Daisy Ice Punch and Thunder Punch
-Made my way to Olivine City using Blue to beat all the trainers
-Saw Rival and heard the gym leader was at the top of the Life house not in the gym
-Made my way to the top of the Life house. The gym leader told me to get her some medicine from Cianwood City
-Blue evolved into Granbull
-Before leaving got HM Strength from Sailor
-Made my way over the sea to Cianwood City battling all the trainers. Badrang got some good exp here as his Thunderpunch was super effective against the trainer's pokemon
-Got Medicine from Pharmacy
-Before leaving Cianwood City I decided to Challenge the gym here
-Beat Chuck. Dynamic Punch could have been a problem but luckily he missed twice in a row with Poliwrath allowing Badrang to take him down with Thunder Punch
-Got the Storm Badge and TM Dynamic Punch
