    Well after me starting my game I have my first EXCITING! update lol :-D

    Update 1:

    Charmander evolved into Charmeleon.

    Defeated Brook without losing a single
    bit of HP.

    Got the Dome Fossil.

    Defeated Misty with my first try.

    Charmeleon evolved into Charizard.

    Defeated Lt. Surge.

    Got Eevee and evolved him into Jolteon.

    Yesterday I beat Brock and Misty and I have a level 30 Charmeleon now.
    I am now in Vermilion City and I haven't gotten on the S.S Anne yet.
    Oh I also got my Dome Fossil in Mt. Moon.

    I finally won and I must say, this was really fun. I hope you can get this done for pokemon crystal because that will be so fun.

    I like charmander so for me it doesn't really matter but I think you should be able to use any starter.
