    uhh hi? I'm a 13 year old girl from Canada and i like Pokemon....I also hate people and tend to avoid speaking to people irl. for as long as I can remember I was fascinated by Pokemon but I really started to become obsessed with Pokemon when I was in 3rd grade. Sadly when I was in 3rd grade no one really liked Pokemon. I got my first Pokemon game (Pokemon Black) for my 9th birthday and I was super happy about that because even though I had played some of the older Pokemon games on Vizzed I had always wanted to know what it was like to play a Pokemon game on a real console(And my b-day was exactly 1 month after the release of the game XD). after that I realized that the older Pokemon games are way better... (not saying that the new ones are bad I just like the older games better) recently I have really wanted to try to do rom hacking but I really don't know how to start and i want to beat Pokemon emerald before I hack it. People in real life tend to make fun of me because i'm a girl that likes Pokemon but I don't really let that bother me because thats not the worst reason that they make fun of me. I really hope that I can make some friends on here because I don't have any in real life. :D

    Greetings to you. Course due to the fact that I have autism, it is sometimes hard for me to interact with people. Except for the number part, I admit that your username reminds me of one the characters in the Dilbert newspaper comic strip. I am a long time Pokemon player myself, course I started back in the days of 1st gen. My first game being Blue. Anyways be sure to enjoy your time here. I will see you around.

    I understand how you feel about social environments and having issues interacting with people, since I have the same problems due to my autism. But hey, welcome to PC Catbert!

    I'm a fellow long-time Pokemon player, where I've been playing since I was 11 (first games were Ruby & Sapphire, and I definitely want to get around to the remakes) but I've been a general fan since I was only 7. And Pokemon is definitely not just for boys! I don't get why people would tease you for liking Pokemon, although some think it's a boys thing and tend to treat it as a "male" franchise, thinking girls only like pink, frilly stuff.

    And I'm always happy to become a new friend for you here, since I'm sure you will meet loads of awesome people here at PC. We are like real people who act like one big family so hopefully you can settle in well, and I wish you good luck with getting active. Have a blast and I'll see you!

    Got to agree with you about the older games being better than Black...that was a bit of a low point in the franchise history, at least in my opinion. Did you get the chance to play Black 2? That was significantly better in my opinion, and if Black left you with a bad (at least compared to the other gens) impression of the fifth gen, you might want to give the sequel a chance to correct that~

    If you're interested in ROM Hacking but unsure of where to start, you might want to check out the Beginner's Lounge and Tools, Tutorials & Resources sections of the ROM Hacking board. That should help you learn the basics! I'll admit that, even with those two fantastic resources at my fingertips, I'm still too intimidated by all of it to learn...it looks terrifyingly complex. xD

    Knn, fortunately much people in my class liked pokemon, but in your case, you'll be pleased to know that there are all sorts of pokemon fans here too, so, don't be shy on saying hello if you meet someone! Do you have a favourite pokemon game, or favourite pokemon? I happen to like Gen 3 / Milotic myself, but there are many others, but it'll be too long to list. xD
