4th Gen Umbreon from the future?

    My brother asked me a question about an umbreon he found in his box. I said no I didn't get one for him.

    A few seconds later we checked it's personality...

    Umbreon lvl 38
    Met at lvl 38
    Met at Ecruteak City
    Met on May 25th, 2011
    OT: Ash
    Timid nature
    (Caught with a master ball)

    Does anyone know how to explain this? o.o

    I've been using the DS all week. There's no way on earth he would've hacked. He doesn't hack anyway.

    He's thinking he got it through GTS. He said he put a pokemon in it and he forgot what he wanted.
     
    It is probably hacked or just some random glitch. Haha, that's what I would have thought.

    My first idea would be that it's just a glitch. Keep it so you can play pranks on your friends and just discard it. lol. That's all.
     
    Someone changed the date on their DS then caught Umbreon in the Master to fool your brother or it's a message from Nintendo telling us BW would have an American release on the 25th of May.

    Probably the first one. :p

    Anyways - it is definately hacked, I would say (I really doubt it would have been a glitch). He or a friend may have hacked it, or as said (and quite likely) he got it in a trade on the GTS. Either that... or a cheat was used to 'obtain' a trainer's Pokemon - more specifically the Kimono Girl's Pokemon as each of their Pokemon are at level 38 and you battle them in Ecruteak City, with the data such as the OT and ball caught with possibly generated when they 'got' that Pokemon... I once got Cynthia's Spiritomb via the GTS as well. XD

    It is fake, certainly. Hence, thread closed - not much else to discuss.
