"Uncrushing Defeat!" Review Thread

It's been a while, but I back. This episode pissed me off enough to return!

So this is how Ash gets his groove back, by picking on others who are weaker than him (Team Rocket). This whole anime series is a total hypocrite! And it's not cool. I wish it would end. A true villain should show up and teach Ash & Co. a hard lesson that makes them regret giving Team Rocket such a hard time. I'm really fed up with it. I mean it's like: "Hey, since Ash can't win against people like Paul and the Pokemon League, let's have him beat Team Rocket over and over again, just so those precocious tykes can know that he can win :) And then we'll have yet another picnic with GOOFY FACES! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE :D :D :D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Wow so they have Ash get over his depression by beating Team Rocket again?

...It's episodes like this that make me wonder why I still watch Pokemon. But I know a good episode will probably be on sometime after, so I continue to watch...I hated this in Japanese, the only reason I watched the dub was for the music count

- Ouch, Ash's Pokemon look hurt o.O

- OK, the part where Team Rocket are on stage talking to the twerps is really weird...
- Ash: Uh, that's kinda weird...

Nurse Joy was seriously retarded in this episode. When team rocket came on stage and stole pikachu, she thought they were part of the act. Then, when Brock says, "no, those are the bad guys", she responds with, "oh no, that's terrible!" At this point, she has no clue what's going on, so "bad guys" should have meant nothing to her.
Another time was at the end of the ep, when Dawn says that she has to get ready for her next contest. After hearing this, Joy asks, "so, do you participate in contests Dawn?"

Also, WTF GIANT FACES ARE GIANT! And Jesse really didn't need to repeat stink (in a really annoying, almost embarrassing way) NINE TIMES!

Yeah, I was laughing too! Although I raised an eyebrow at the performance Dawn put on for Ash. Yes, I know it was for a good cause (cheering Ash up) but my jaw just hit the floor upon seeing that show. I am never looking at a clown the same way again.
