    Under the Bed

    Into the night.
    A fright, A fright.
    Gone into night.
    A fright.

    On my door.
    Under the floor.
    Inwards it seeps.
    Inwards creeps.

    Into the night.
    A fright, A fright.
    Gone into the night.
    A fright.

    "Mother" , I call,
    Before I fall.
    "A monster in here,
    And it gets near!"

    Into the night.
    A fright, A fright.
    Gone into the night.
    A fright.

    "Father!" I shout,
    "Make it get out!"
    Still, so I lie.
    I start to cry.

    Into the night.
    A fright, A fright.
    Gone into the night.
    A fright.

    Soft warm glow and,
    A smile does show.
    A hug, with love,
    Gives the demon a shove.

    Into the night.
    A fright, A fright.
    Gone into the night.
    A fright.

We all had monsters in our rooms right? This little poem is to express that. Any help is much appreciated, my wording on some of the lines may be a bit awkward.

This is good! ^_^ I really liked the format and the way it rhymed. Everything was good, but I stumbled a bit where the father part comes in. Just the punctuation on "Still, so I lie" I think I paused too long ^^; Other than that, great work! I'd like to hear other poems from you later on =)

It's good to know someone likes it. (: I actually struggled with the writing of "Still, so I Lie." I wanted to rhyme and still make some sense and that was the only way I could seem to make it fit really.

Thanks again for reading the poem. (:

That's pretty awesome. I must be a Pokefreak, because I thought 'Haunter' when it go to the part about the smile. XD

Heeheeheeee! Interesting work you've done here.
