4th Gen unhappy starters

I haven't once restarted HG and I don't plan on it seeing as I have gotten this far and done so much. 114 hours of gameplay is hard to throw away. It doesn't really matter either way because I have all of the starters from all of the games. My fiance restarted her game sometime after I beat mine, so she went ahead and got me the HG/SS starters I missed. I did the same with my Diamond starters, and I migrated from Emerald and FireRed for those starters.

With HG though I started with Cyndaquil because he has been a favorite of mine. Feraligatr is cool and all, but the fact there is no "o" in "Ferali-gator" bothers me more than I like to admit.

lol you wife plays pokemon. I wonder what does your kids say.
 
I used to be happy with my cyndaquil, i always find starter pokemon are great until you hit about level 35, then i just switch to something else. In Heart gold I switched to my dragonite, cos it's pretty awesome :D
 
i started with totodile and after i beat some gym leaders i traded from my platinum chikorita and cyndaquil =) and the team is ok
