4th Gen Unlucky with shinys

seriouslly i really hate the pokeradar i dont understand how everyone is so lucky in encounting shinys

i had a chain of 41 shinx and so i kept reseting the pokeradar and no shiny patches came up i eventually ran out of max repels so i didnt get a shiny

it sux so i give up finding shinys its a waste of time!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't understand this whole shiny hunting in the first place.. most of them look worse than the normal versions.. some are down right horrible..

I usually get more than 99 Max Repels when I go shiny hunting, and a chain of 41 is still very low.

Shiny'ies are very valuable in online trading, well atleast for 80% of the people.

yeh i had lots of repels, its just i see people on youtube with chains of 40 and even 14 they get the shiny on the first reset

some people r just shiny hunters they would trade anything to get shinys

but i say it wont be the same if someone get shinys from other people because it is not really yours, i have a shiny rayquaza but i got it from someone else and its not the same as owning your own

if i ever dicide to go search for shinys again i will not trade it

Feh, I don't bother with shinies usually, but a good way to identify hacked teams is if they're all shiny, they're probably hacked.

Although... I am looking for legit shiny versions of my battle team to train up...

Yeah, I was searching shinies on YouTube and there was this guy who's pokemon were all shiny. They were obviously hacked, as he had all 493 pokemon...ALL shiny... *shudders*

I'd only really want a shiny for show and bragging rights, anyway. Otherwise, to me, shinies are just re-colored, normal pokemon. I think it's the low chances of getting one, hence rarity, that fuels these so-called "Shiny Hunters".

The only shinies I'd want are Lumineon and Umbreon. (They're my favs.) Oh, and every other evolutionary form of Eevee. xD (loves Eevees)

its using the pokerader to see a pokemon, then if you catch or kill it the grass rumbles again, if you see the same pokemon its a chain of 2, kill or catch that and if you see another when the grass vibrates again, you'll have a chain of 3 and so on..

i havent really tried it yet

oh, and if the grass is a different color does that mean it's shiny or something?

erm.. if it like glistens a bit, then it'll have a higher chance of being a rare pokemon

if it 'shines' its a shiny.. ive not seen a shiny grass patch yet though

the only shiney I have and ever caught is buizel.may not be as glamorus as those other but im proud of it lol

I've caught 4 shinies... all of em look cool (Rapidash, Golem, Pikachu (YES pikachu) and Caterpie lol) and I caught 1 when I didn't even know about shinys... just caught it... (Tentacool). but once I tried the Pokeradar thing... didn't work out I got 12 at my highest and then I blew it...

it is hard getting shinys my highest chains i made which are on my pokeapp 20 are 30,31,41 yeh it sux :P

Yes. I dont want to get off topic, but if you dont own the game, you're supposed to delete it within 24 hours. (I do.. But i re-download it... but i keep the save file... so no harm done)
I have a Legit ruby anyway...


Dammit... I only got legit Ponyta as shiny... and thats gonna be gone once my wifi works..
