I'd suggest using Hopeless Trainer Editor instead. It has all of UTE's functionality, but unlike UTE, it's bug free. It's also much easier to use.

You're welcome! That depends on which sprites you want to edit; Advance Series covers all the Pokémon related stuff (link might be dead, if you can't find a working one I'll reupload it). If you want to edit Trainers or overworld sprites, use unLZ or NSE respectively. I don't have links for them on hand, but they should be available on other sites.
