Unova Elite Four

    Since we know Alder is appearing it got me wondering will be see any of the rest of them?

    Judging from past history we saw at least one of the Elite 4 per Saga so I'd assume this one will be no different.

    So pending they don't show all of them who do you think is most likely to appear? And who do you most want to appear and why?
     
    I think that we'll see all the Unova Elite 4 this time around, but not at the same time. I want Caitlin to appear because I'd like to see the backstory on how she became an Elite 4 member (and her past in the Battle Frontier).
     
    I doubt any of them will appear this season, but perhaps could appear as the series as whole progresses. I'd like to see Grimsley.

    I want to see Caitlan for some reason...i dunno I couldn't know much about her...she is wierd...

    Can someone tell me please, isn't Caitlan one of the Frontier Brains in Sinnoh? The Battle Castle I think? Please tell me and thanks.

    I don't see or remember any history of her being shown in the Anime. The only one I believe was shown as Palmer and that was probably partly due to Barry being his son.

    Caitlan is head of Battle Castle, but Darach battles on her behalf as the Frontier Brain for that facility. If I remember correctly she can't adequately control her Psychic powers at the time of Platinum and HGSS.

    I think if they did show her before and showed her again there would be a continuation issue there. I'd see a definitely plot hole... She has clear progression from Sinnoh and Ash is still an ignorant 10 year old as he was when he first started in Kanto.

    But since Caitlan wasn't introduced prior to this then I don't see this being an issue, and they could always have her as a spectator for Battle Frontier as an older version.

    As for the question as hand I think they will show at least one of them. I am leaning toward Marshal, he seems like a neat guy from interactions in the game. And he is a pupil of Alder so it would be interesting if he means up with them and Alder is there as well. My hope is that all of them are shown, but as fast flowing as this Saga is who really knows. I see most of them if they are introduced toward the end or in East Unova.

    It's quite astonishing really, seeing how close they're actually following the games in a certain way. We get to see Bianca's father, then Alder afterwards, we've even got a cold storage episode, though it doesn't have anything to do with Plasma by the looks of it. But like I said, all that happens in the games. I'm not saying they haven't followed this close before, but I do find it interesting.

    Anyway, seeing as we did get four episodes dedicated to the Sinnoh elite 4, I guess I can see it as a big possibility. I could see Alder mentioning Marshal, like he does in the games, and then Ash asking who Marshal is. Alder could then probably give us the first mention of the Unova Elite 4.

    On the topic of Caitlin, I could actually see an episode somewhat revolving around Darach and Caitlin, I mean, there are supposedly clues around Black and White that hint that hes still watching over her.

    Well, I don't know what he ment, but it could make sense. She could of easily seen him compete in the Sinnoh league, weather she was there with Cynthia or saw it on television, kind of like how Max saw Ash in the Silver Conference.
     
    I was alluding to her actually meeting him in person like Palmer did. Or at least have an appearance. And yes it could also be like Shingo in Wired for Battle were he knew of Ash from his database of entrants in the Indigo League. If Caitlin does make an appearance I am feeling it more likely to be in Eastern Unova maybe at her Villa along with Cynthia.
