Untradable Mew

So I played Ruby & Saphire and beat them legit. I played Colosseum and beat it legit.

I recently got a Action Replay aka a Gameshark to have some fun. Oh AR for Gameboy not Gamecube!

I was able to trade Moltres, Articuno, Zapodos, Lugia, Celebi, and Mewtwo.

However, Mew isn't seen by the game itself even if you put in the line up by himself. Weird huh?!

Most of this was just to have some fun before I play Fire & Leaf and get legit legendary birds.

I have to thoughts on why Mew won't trade.
1. Colosseum isn't designed with a Mew or a non-legit Mew.
2. Pokedex says Mew appears invislbe to most even when it likes the person. So he appears invisible during trade and therefore untradable.

What do you guys think? Or have any of you managed to get a mew in GC?

When you create a Mew using the AR, you need to make sure that the obedient bit is set so that Mew isn't corrupted. Otherwise, you will not be able to trade it to Coliseum. Also make sure that its EV total is no greater than 510.

Moltres, Articuno, Zapodos, Lugia, Celebi, and Mewtwo do not need to have the obedient bit set.

And that is what you get for cheating to get a Pok?mon. Waiting and catching it later is better. ;)
