This is funny but extremely horrible at the same time. Quoted from Perez~

    Spoiler:

What the hell, guys? It's not even remotely funny. There was every possibility he could've fallen out and end up breaking a couple of bones, or worse, end up dead. If you think that's funny, your sense of humour could do with some improvement. Anyway, Samme, you're a bit late. The balloon crashed a couple of minutes ago. Boy wasn't found near the scene of impact, so he either fell out, was never on the balloon on the first place or he exploded on impact. Okay, last one there is a joke. People are also saying he's a family member of a family who is currently on the show 'Wife Swap' so this could just be some sort if sick publicity stunt. Either way it's not funny and I hope they find that boy as soon as possible.

Well, there's the plot for Pixar's next movie. o:

I hope the kid isn't too badly hurt though. =/

If that little boy is found alive then I'm Richard simmons. I sadly don't think that the boy lived through the fall. Hopefully he is flying his own hot air balloon up to heaven.

Update: He was just found in the attic of his house.... :D

Way to play hide and seek and cause a national scare kid -____________-

I'm not RS because he was never in it. so I win =P
But the parents are the ones to blame. They should have called for him and searched the whole house, do that routine before going scared. But I'm sure it was just their first reaction, that their kid and their balloon were gone.
    But Still.
Also, just looking at the story on Yahoo News, the family was actually on the TV Reality show, Wife Swap. that made me lol.

Sorry Samme. I don't find that funny at all. If there was a little boy in there he could have died and death is not funny.

I just thought it was funny that it was such a random type of event... not that a kid was in it.

Wow, what a horrific event. D: That's terrifying; having to be in the air like a couple thousand feet.

Thankfully, going by Samme's update, he's safe now.

Well he was never in the balloon. His brother thought he saw him climb into the basket attached to the balloon.. But the kid was in the attic the whole time :/

Stupid kids dont you know homemade hot air balloons are dangerous~
Bet this kid started making this balloon after he saw the movie "up"

Wow he was found in the attic that was a waste of cnn news time lol

Why link to Perez Hilton when there are several legitimate news sites? That alone is what made me think this was a joke until someone mentioned seeing it on CNN. >_>

It was the first place I had heard about it D':

^ This, on the other hand, is funny. Considering his father's reaction to what he said about why he didn't come out when they were calling, omg... priceless. From the way his dad responds to when he said "you said we'd do this for the show" it's pretty obvious (or maybe its just me) that this was planned beforehand... maybe not by the producers, but the father definitely had something to do with it.

Wow, this made my day. Thank you for posting ^.^

To be honest and blunt, they are stupid. Just stupid. Well, mostly the father for trying to cover it up and not having any public speaking skills whatsoever. But putting America into a semi state of panic is no way someone should get publicity. And Falcon. Seriously. Falcon. -_-

I think Falcon was just trying to do what he was told. He seems to have a lot of respect for his parents. He explained why he didn't come out of where he was hiding when the situation occurred.

    "Why didn't you come out?"
"Um... you guys said... that we did this for a show."

If there's a whole camera crew on your house and your parents said that they wanted to do something for a show, do you really think that you'd be coming out when you can gain fame and the like over the situation? I mean, this little boy is still a kid. Maybe he was expecting something out of it.

I dunno, but I just think that that father is trying to get around from his son's confession when he goes and says "Whenever we tell him things, like, it's a bad thing to do he does go and hide."
