is there any difference in the uk cards compared to the us cards or are they the same and worth the same. ive seen cards in german and japanese and everything. are they all worth the same?

It is dependent on local value. The value of a card varies from area to area. It is often based off of the need for a card to counter a popular deck type in the area.
The wording might be different between the U.S. and the U.K cards, and the value of foreign cards relative to the local cards (aside from the actual Japanese cards, which tend to be a desired foreign language for the cards and tend to be valued higher) is an unknown to me. Oh, and an Ancient Mew isn't worth all that much to many collectors. There were just so many of them given away when the first Pokemon movie came out.
