If you want to reserve that name and prevent others from taking it, you can always register a new account with that name.
Just be sure not to make any posts with it.

Capitalizations do not count as name changes.

You need to be registered for at least three months before you're eligible for any kind of name change. If you want another name at this point, you'll have to make another account for it.
