Using a Walkthrouh?

I've used a walkthrough for my first time in Diamond..

I was lost when i reached Jubilee City...

LOL... Well, I use walkthroughs too in other games like Kingdom Hearts...

But now, I make walkthroughs! :)

P.S. = Oh, and In Mystery Dungeon too. I use walkthroughs so that i can see how to obtain some features. ;)

Of course not, I never used a walkthrough before seriously, Pokemon games are just easy for me. I just walk to walk.

I don't used it even for once :)
it's easy for me.

I used some FAQs to find out the Elite Four's pokemon but that's it.
Pokemon isn't like other games with like dungeons (obviously with the exceptions of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games) with many floors of really confusing puzzles ect. Sure there are boulder moving things in Pokemon but they aren't that hard to figure out.

I did some times ago ,I lost into a Cave in Diamond and I had to use it as well as some faqs about EVs and others like that. I used them for other difficult game, not pokemon at all.

The only game I have used a Walkthrough was Pokemon Silver. It was too large and there were some requirements to complete the full story which weren't indicated. For example, how to find rock smash, how to quit that sudowoodo of the way... And the Kanto part too.

The others were only parts of games, like in Pokemon Ruby in Team Magma hideout, there were those "switchs" and I thought I had to get pass them to exit the hideout and face the leader. I ended finiding the masterball...

I use a guide for Platinum so I can find certain Pokemon and stuff. I need a Micle Berry now.

Also, has anyone noticed that official guides NEVER mention Arceus? They probably decided to cut him out of the picture and make him unobtainable, because when God shows up, the series is finished.

i glance at a walkthrough when i dont know what to do next or when i missed the clue or next step in the game and i dont know how to proceed (like when i miss getting a hm by overlooking the person that gives it to me or something) i did with ruby.

and sometimes to look up info on pokemon so i can figure out my best team

i'ev used a walkthrough a couple of times in D/P.
only wen i get really stuck!
i used on the way to spear pillar i think. i never saw that cave at the end.

I never used to use a walkthrough, i started using it after when i was stuck in some Ds game = don't remember the name though :\

I bought a walkthrough for Fire Red / Leaf Green. I was, like, nine years old. x_X I use it occasionally, though, when I want to find a rare Pokemon or something like that.

I only used 2 online walkthroughs for Pokemon FireRed to power through it so I could trade Kanto Pokemon, the Legendary Birds and Dogs, and Mewtwo to my Sapphire/Emerald carts.

Only other games I've needed one for are Rocket: Robot on Wheels (N64; I LOVE that game!) and Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (some areas are so convoluted, but it's still an awesome game).

Otherwise, I just use FAQs for advanced Pokemon concepts like IVs, EVs, advanced breeding, etc. (and tips & tricks for other games...darn you One Piece for GBA! :cer_pissed:) But the Pokemon games are pretty easy in general (I'm just worried about how I'm going to face Platinum's Distortion World and post-game content...hope I don't get lost! :nervous:)

Personally, I like beating games without walkthroughs & FAQs, as it gives you a greater sense of accomplishment and shows that you're skilled enough to beat the game (and find hidden content?) without assistance. :)
But the downside is that without walkthroughs & FAQs, you might miss out on a hidden item/event or misuse a certain item properly (i.e., using Master Ball on a non-roaming or non-Shiny Explosion-using Pokemon. Personally, though it is harder, I like to use Master Balls on all large legendary Pokemon {Groudon, Lugia, Dialga, Heatran-size Pokrmon, etc.} and catch roamers with other types of Poke Balls.)

Lol, I remember when I used to think in elementary school that the RSE guides were THE authority on Pokemon. Then I learned about Bulbapedia, Serebii, Marriland, Veekun's Chain-Breeding Calculator, and Smogon, etc. How times have changed. :D
