Format: Pokemon Showdown [5th Gen UU]
Username: Xanthos
Changes: Made in Red
Rhyperior @ Leftovers
Ability: Solid Rock
248 HP / 16 Atk / 244 SDef
Adamant Nature
Stealth Rock, Earthquake, Rock Blast, Megahorn
At First I wasn't going to use Rhyperior on this team. Rhyperior was only here to resist flying attacks (for Heracross... Who I've taken off the team...)
I was told Rock Polish could outspeed a lot of things... except for scarf damanitans with super power.
I chose Rock Blast over stone edge for two reasons. 90% Acc. and Can hit after breaking a Sub.
Liechi Berry ... I think Lefty's might've been a better item after a few battles. Life Orb was added for a boost in power.
~This set has proved to be working much better, and he is now able to live a 4X hit more easier now, and hopefully luckout with Rock Blast.
Empoleon @ Choice Specs
Ability: Torrent
Modest Nature
252 SAtk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Hydro Pump, Surf, Ice Beam, Grass Knot
Empoleon surprised me. I never expected him to kill so many walls. I am very happy with Choice Specs Empoleon. I placed Empoleon on my team to resist Dragon, Grass, Ice, and Water. Some people don't even expect empoleon to K.O. Them at all.
Zapdos @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
Timid Nature
252 SAtk / 252 SpD / 4 SDef
Roost, Thunderbolt, Heat Wave, Hidden Power [Ice]
Bulky Attacker. Discharge to spread paralysis if I can. Heat Wave for general coverage. HP Fly for general stab. Eviolite Gligars are a bit of a problem... Immunity to Ground
~By switching to an offensive Thunderbolt Life Orb Zapdos has been more able to cause more damage that its previous bulky discharging, leftovers variant.
Tangrowth @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
Relaxed Nature
252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Powerwhip, Earthquake, Hidden Power [Ice], Leech Seed
With two special attackers on the team. I figured it would be more wise to include at least 1 more physical hitter. I know I have two pokemon with HP Ice, and 1 with Ice Beam, but I feel lit it is needed to counter the random gligar and flygon.
Ambipom @ Expert Belt
Ability: Technician
252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Payback
- U-turn
- Seed Bomb
- Aerial Ace
My team was in need of a fast physical pokemon. And a counter to Chanderlure. Insert Ambipom. most people expect him to fake out, but He is here to kill fighting types.
Torkoal @ Leftovers
Ability: White Smoke
Relaxed Nature
248 Def / 252 HP / 8 SAtk
Stealth Rock, Rapid Spin, Lava Plume, Earthquake
Torkoal is my Stealth rocker, and Spinner.
I really don't understand why there are so few spinners in the whole game.
I chose Torkoal for his great defensive's, and Lava Plume (The Original Scald). Earthquake is for Arcanine, Chadelure, and Hoondoom (Pokemon with Flash Fire). He was also implemented into the team to resist potential grass pokemon.
~Still hasn't found a replacement. I might need to add hoondoom, and a ghost type.
---------------
I feel that this team is missing a Poison, Fighting, and a good Flying attack (To kill those Fighting-types.) I'm thinking of adding a Rotom [Not sure which form.], and Crobat, but first I would have to remove two pokemon. Honestly I would like to keep Empoleon, and everyone else is subject for change.

Spoiler:
Tangela @ Eviolite
Ability: Regenerator
Serious Nature
252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SpA
Leech Seed, Stun Spore, Hidden Power [Fire], Giga Drain
Cresselia (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Calm Nature
252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Thunder Wave, Psychic, Light Screen, Reflect
I hate Cress so much. She doesn't do anything except that hits (which could be one thing to love about her.) Partially removes my fighting weakness. Honestly she has to leave my team.
