    Does anyone have VB?

    Is it just as good as phpBB or InvisionFree?

    I was wondering if someone or if the vB site could host it for me.
     
    If you have the money to buy a vB (at least $80, $160 if you're looking at a perm. license) you have the money to get a host. >_>;;

    And yes, it's AMAZING. I'll never move my main forum off of vB ever. <3
     
    Why is everyone wanting a vB? Stupidest thing ever IMO. And Half of them on the internet are Nulled anyway.

    Instead of getting a vB just use MyBB, its pretty much the exact same thing and once 1.4 comes out it'll be having a new ACP and some other new great things.
     
    You know, Tyler is right. MyBB is pretty much the same thing.

    And ZetaBoards is the new Invisionfree by the way.
     
    As well there are small forum scripts out there like FlexBB, which is good. And I'm creating one, which I'm not that far with but it will be really good (as what I'm expecting).

    Just don't go for such big Forum scripts, it doesn't make your site anymore popular than a small script. <- If thats wrong prove it to me!

    I'm a lot more inclined to go to a site that has (presumably) spent the money into getting a forum system that is extremely powerful and constantly updated with security fixes.

    Also, vB typically (read: typically) implies that the forum is larger, and it's used on a good chunk of big business-related forums. (Ex: Official Digimon forum was vB, official FmA site was/is vB - haven't checked in forever, the big "webmaster" forums are)
     
    I like Vb I just hate the money that I have to shell out whenI decide to add a vb site to my list of awseome sites.
     
    I wouldn't spend money on vB unless my site was actually popular. Otherwise, the money would have been a waste, imo. My forum is powered by MyBB at the moment, since it's the closest one can get to vB without having to shell out the money for it.
