Is there an anime where someone gets transported into a videogame and tries to get out of it?

Monster Rancher would technically count as that.

Other than that, I don't think I've ever come arcoss one.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't .hack about some videogame-like world? XD; I've never seen the whole series and I don't really understand it, just don't hurt me if I'm wrong. XD;

The main character is stuck in the game, and the other characters are trying to figure out how to get him out or something. xD; I don't really remember...I didn't watch much of it.

Umm, yeah, well, all I remember from that anime is some kids in funky clothing running around some video game world trying to do...something.
