View on Legendaries?

    What do you think of using legendaries in battle?
    personally i dont like them, especially in dp, i catch them to put them in my box. i prefer to catch and train pokemon that i like.
     
    I don't know if this belongs here or not. Regarding your question, I don't use ubers but everything else I do use.
     
    I play Ubers sometimes, but when I play OU I don't allow ubers. OU/BL legends are fine.
     
    Legendaries are trophies. Other than using them to sweep the Elite Four like the dirt they are, they're trophies.
     
    They're mostly trophies. Personaly, I don't use them at all. I happen to like the Pokemon I caught, and raised myself.
     
    Most of the time I don't even catch my legendaries because I must be that... lazy... O_o;
    But if I do, I like using a few of my favorites for online battles. They shouldn't be so shunned on just because they're naturally stronger... One won't be a threat to a proper EV trained pokemon so you don't have nothing to lose. A full team of legends/ubers, now I detest that. A few in a team, cool... You caught them yourself and raised them yourself. Why can't you have the right to use them? ;P
     
    The ubers have unfair advantages that even OU pokemon (including OU legendaries) have a tough time countering. That's why I hate ubers for battling.
     
    true about the trophies thing. i cant stand it when people parade around using an all legendary team thinking that they're the best pokemon trainer ever. especially when people try to battle me with them. oh and then there are some little kiddies who think that just having them guarantees them a win. there was this kid who i battled over wifi in battle revo, who had shiny latios and latias, shiny raikou, entei etc... but i beat him anyway... cus he sucked. so yeah.
     
    I agree with the above post. Parading legendaries around is not cool at all. Catching most legendaries isn't particularly hard either considering you know the locations of them. Catching Dialga certainly doesn't make me a good trainer. As Ichida said, they are merely trophies. I do love the legendaries and if I was allowed to use 1 in battle then yes I would, but out of choice and fairness I probably won't ever in a wi-fi battle.
