How do you watch the anime? Where and when do you watch it? What do you think is the best way to watch the anime? Do you watch the newest episode as soon as possible or do you watch it whenever you feel like it? Do you prefer to watch alone or with others? Do you prefer to watch it on a network or through the use of streaming services? These are just some things to consider when replying.

Uhhh my goal is usually to keep up to date with everything. That gets harder as the subs fall further behind but watching raws is okay most of the time. I still go back and watch the sub when I can later. And I randomly bingewatch when I feel like it or when I get behind. Also i torrent or illegally stream everything I watch oops. Ain't like I can get Japanese TV broadcast to me in Minnesota -v-; And watching the dub... isn't my preference. Not that I have CN anyway.

I've been watching an episode a day before bed for just over a year now...I started at the beginning, and now I've just started the Battle Frontier. I've only watched the first couple of episodes of XY, although I keep up-to-date with what is happening...I'll be all caught up by late January/early February 2016 at this rate I think, including episodes that will air between now and the point where I catch up...right now, I'll catch up on the 21st of December next year. xD

I have up to Battle Dimension on DVD, and the rest are all downloaded on my laptop, in a folder that is almost 17GB in size now. I prefer to download rather than watch online...internet connections are fickle things. Plus there are the ads to consider.

I like to watch RAWs as soon as they come out. It feels natural and I won't need to wait for subs and never forget which episode was the last I watched.
I've been keeping up with BW that way but not that much with XY :/

And obviously alone, who would be so mad to watch something in Japanese without subs? xD

I used to watch Indigo League, Orange Islands and I think some of Johto on TV. They never seemed to broadcast it in order though (or at least, I was never able to watch it in order). When I got back into Pokemon, I watched from late Advanced Battle-Sinnoh League Victors online, because the UK airs it very slowly - and at last I could watch it in order, haha. I watched DP eps I couldn't wait to see RAW. Now I always watch XY subbed. I hook my computer up to my TV, and watch subbed eps with my sister :')

I have all the seasons on DVD, but if I am going to watch a specific series I have to watch the full thing. I generally don't just watch one or two eps unless it's on Netflix. If I'm gonna watch Pokémon it generally has to be a full series.

XY I kept up with every Saturday on Citv here in the U.K but they got to about episode 27 or 28 then started from the beginning again so I haven't seen any further than the fossil pokemon episode.

This thread is perfect for me!

I watch whenever I feel up to it. Admittedly I skim through some parts, especially Team Rocket bits, since they bore me by this point and I know exactly what to expect. Oftentimes I watch episodes that aired a month or two ago (or perhaps even more) out of sheer laziness, heh. But it's always exciting reading about who catches what new Pokemon, then running along to watch the episode where it happens!

As for how I watch, I download the subtitled episodes once they're released. Watching alone or bust.

For the new episodes I try to watch them live using this one streaming site (when I don't have to work by the time it airs or something). If I don't catch it live for some reason I'll torrent it (oops) and watch it the moment I get a chance to. Honestly I'm a little lazy with watching subs these days but if it'san episode that I really really liked or something I'll watch it subbed first chance I get. I haven't bothered with the dub though haha.

I'm actually going through Indigo League on Netflix right now and I really wished that they had more than just Indigo and BW (the latter I have all on mycomputer subbed so) that way I can rewatch more of Pokemon because for everything else I really don't want to watch on my computer. Oh well.
