Virus/Worm -_-

lol, every 5-20 mins, I am getting Internet Explorer Has Encountered A Problem And Needs To Close box, when I am not even using IE. When this happens, I click "Don't Send" and I open task manager, and see IEXPLORE.EXE duplicating, every time this box comes up wheteher I press anything or not, IEXPLORE.EXE duplicates around 3-10 times. When I right-click these duplicated IEXPLORE.EXE, it starts rapidly duplicating, and does not stop, so I have to reboot. I have updated Internet Explorer to its latest version, updated my Norton's virus definitions, scanned, and it has picked nothing up.

Can you tell me what to do to get rid of this virus/worm, because it is messing up my PC.

sounds like a browser hijack....get CWShredder and see if it helps

There is alot of adware and spyware that Norton Anti-virus can't pick up. I would recommend using CW Shreadder or Ad-aware.

Trend Housecall? https://housecall.antivirus.com/ But I doubt it's that... besides, if the browser keeps closing it won't work. If this spyware/worm only attacks IE then use Firefox instead. If you can't download it get it off a magazine CD.
