How do you expect it to be shiny and in an egg both at the same time? You can't tell unless you hack into it... But then you might as well just hack it shiny. And does this mean you'd like it hacked back into an egg when you catch it? @@

every egg i have i always test to see if its shiny by savin right before it hatches then hatch it ^_^
then i trade it and tell them if it was shiny or not, that way i know the odds ;)
as long as it wasnt RNG, it should stay shiny

I'm trying to migrate them all to my Platinum so I can start over on Emerald and I have a few boxes full of stuff. Also, I'm at my sisters house and I'm trying to set up wifi on my DS but I might not get to, so I may not be able to trade or send you my Celebi til I go home on either monday or tuesday.

did it myself, 4times, no mistake, i even removed the EVs i have on the one in my trophy just in case, came out the same ^_^
(100in HP,255 in spatk,100 in speed)
