Jack charged with the punch, but was Sucker Punched at the last second. He was blown backwards, and landed with a thud. He got up, rubbing his head at the point which had broken his fall. He got back up on his feet, and stared at the Zorua. The Zorua gave a devilish smile.

Jack suddenly had a massive headache. He saw images in his mind...images of the Zorua and Wade...Images of their love.....how the Zorua felt hurt about Wade's fall...and Jack started feeling guilty. He felt guilt about everything he had done so far.

"I gotta snap out of it!" Jack thought. He stared at the Zorua, trying not to show his pain. "So, Extrasensory, huh? You're still a greenhorn, I've bared more pain." He shouted.

He heard Althalos's voice over the radio. "He- he's almost dead..." Faltering? He'd have to talk with Althalos. But Jack had to currently focus on the current situation.

He pointed his hand at the Zorua, saying, "He's dead! Wade's dead, and it's your fault! If you had been a bit early, he'd have still been here!" Distracting the Zorua, he pressed a button on his hand, and a bullet shot towards the Zorua.

"So, Extrasensory, huh? You're still a greenhorn, I've bared more pain," the man shouted at her, "He's dead! Wade's dead, and it's your fault! If you had been a bit early, he'd have still been here!"

"If your not in any pain, how come you sound so UPSET?" she said, laughing in her state of disconcern. At times like this, it felt good to be a Zorua. A dark pokemon.

A bullet was sent straight at her, and although she moved just in time, the bullet broke against the ground and split into several pieces. Some of the metal cut into her side, bleeding and stinging as if she really had been shot. The Zorua tried ignoring it, ending up clenching her teeth together. No more crying. She couldn't cry. She had to fight. For Wade, for Luke, and for the Poke'Rebel. And as she thought about these small things, she glared back at the man with her eyes practically on fire.

Her ruby eyes lit up in the fog, and she shot out a Night Daze. The energy stored in blasted out rays of red, dark energy from Lydia's body. Her signature attack, and her most powerful. The impact shook the building from beneath them, but her focus laid on the man in front of her. She wasn't going down.

"Funny how you think I'm trying to hurt you. I'm just getting warmed up," she grinned, blood dripping down her right side.

"If your not in any pain, how come you sound so UPSET?"

"Upset? UPSET?! Bwahahahahaha!!!! You think I'm upset? You're deeply mistaken, my dear." Jack yelled.

The bullet smashed into the ground, and broke into several pieces, piercing the Zorua's side. She didn't cry out at all. "Brave little one, huh?" Jack thought.

The Zorua shot a Night Daze at Jack, and Jack managed to deflect part of it with his metal arm. But, part of it smashed into his chest, causing him to be pushed back, and trip. His chest burnt, and he tried to swallow down the pain. He couldn't show weakness. Not now, not ever.

"Funny how you think I'm trying to hurt you. I'm just getting warmed up,"

"When did I say it hurt? And, I couldn't even feel your 'warm up'. I really doubt whether your real attacks will be any better." Jack laughed.

But Jack knew he would have to think up a plan. Randomly blasting around wouldn't help. He spied a mine beside the Zorua. It had probably been in the plane, now on the ground. If he blasted it....It would probably blow both Jack and the Zorua off the roof. But, he had to take the chance. He pointed his hand at the mine, and shot a bullet.

Part of her attack was reflected straight back at her. It exploded on impact and made her fall down. Though it didn't hurt much due to the type disadvantage, the power up gave it an extra boost of force. When she tried to get up, the man shot a bullet with his arm.

"HAH! You mi-" She didn't even get to finish her sentence, because immediately the entire building blew up, shooting both them and debris into the air. Parts of the building scraped her face while blowing by, soon plummeting to the ground just as she was. Lydia glowed, more than soon her illusion taking effect as her appearance changed into that of a Pidgeot's. Her wings kept her afloat, and she glided downward.

As her speed increased, she shifted her wings into another direction, near the human. Flying over, her talons grabbed Jack by his mechanical arm. He was heavy, but her huge wings supported the weight as long as she kept flapping them.

She lowered him to the ground steadily and transformed back to her original form. The Zorua was ready to defend herself, but her energy was giving out.

"I really...hate you..." Lydia was breathing heavily now, and her voice was higher than usual. She was loosing too much blood and saw some of it dripping down her face. Just great. She was sure there was something in that arm that would have let him fly and survive even if she hadn't helped him.

Part of the Zorua's attack had reflected back at her. Jack hadn't anticipated that at all.

Jack shot at the mine, while the Zorua yelled, "HAH! You mi-" She didn't get to finish her sentence. The Bullet collided with the mine, causing it to blow up the whole top of the building. Both the Zorua and Jack flew up in the air, but the Zorua transformed into a Pidgeot, and rushed and grabbed his mechanical hand. The Zorua lowered him onto the ground, and then transformed back.

"I really...hate you..."

"I don't really love you too ya know. Anyways, you could have just let me fall onto the ground. Wonder why you saved me? Personal revenge? ...Pity?"

He looked at the tired out Zorua. She was tired. There was something about her he quite liked. He felt pity for her, and decided to let her go. He picked up the injured Zorua, and dumped her into a trash can. "Stay here, will ya? Wouldn't want you to get hurt. Save it for later, 'K?" He slammed his fist onto her head, hoping to knock her unconcious, and put the lid back on.

He radioed Althalos, and said, "Althalos, the Zorua has escaped! But don't waste any time looking for her. Get ready for the Battle!"

"Althalos, the Zorua has escaped! But don't waste any time looking for her. Get ready for the Battle!" Escaped? That was some pretty big ******** since he had watched Jack dump the tired pokemon in a trash can, but he had pretty much done the same thing, so he didn't bring it up. "I'm always ready." Althalos radioed back, making the ever satisfying sound of clip being loaded and a bullet pushed into the chamber with a *chk-chk,* into the radio. "I can't tell if I'm smelling napalm or victory, probably both." Althalos chuckled at his own poorly thought out joke and started polishing his gun again. when it was cleaned, something came to his mind: shooting the Umbreon with a tranquilizer, just so that he couldn't feel any pain if he was still awake, but the impact alone might kill him, so he pushed the idea out of his head, and then thought of going and rescuing the Zorua, but not only had she gotten him into enough trouble, she could probably figure out how to escape a trash can, and he started messing with his combat knife again.

There was chatter on his radio, something about wade, and making sure he was dead. Mark could here slight breathing when he poked it, but figured him dead, but who knows, the only medical expertise mark had was taking away life. He was walking back upstairs when he heard another fight start up on the roof. Started running up the stairs when a explosion knocked him into a wall, mark thought "Think my arm is broke, that sucks" He fell back and his stomach started hurting again. After a few minutes of pain, he stood up, it felt like his arm was dislocated but he got ready for combat. he made his way through the ruins of the building, he got to the 'roof' which was now a hole other than the outer edge. " What the hell just happened? is the city under attack?" The camping stool he set up was knocked over, mark picked it up and sat down, take a couple to figure out what happened.

"I don't really love you too ya know. Anyways, you could have just let me fall onto the ground. Wonder why you saved me? Personal revenge? ...Pity?"

Lydia had no answer. Why did she save him? It wasn't revenge nor pity; just her instinct. She had always been there to save others. Her friends, family...and apparently now, her enemies. She wasn't an average Dark type pokemon like everyone always treated her as. She wanted to be something bigger than that.

The man grabbed her. Her struggles were useless though and she was thrown into a trash can. His face hovered over her own. "Stay here, will ya? Wouldn't want you to get hurt. Save it for later, 'K?" She was about to shout out a random insult when his metal hand pounded against her head. A headache formed with a huge shock of unbearable pain, and her consciousness began slipping as she laid down in the trash. He closed the lid on her, and as the area around her darkened, her view faded to black.

Time: Sunset, with the moon out in the sky

Wade was in a pitch black dimension, and he couldn't feel or see anything at all. It was like sleeping, but in this 'sleeping state', he could think clearly. He was in a coma-like-situation, and he was still alive. Alive, yes, but not for long. He was still bleeding, covered in his own pool of blood, by himself, in the cold. His fangs weren't a problem though - they would grow back in a few weeks. He couldn't hear, and he couldn't move. It was...quiet. Peaceful even. It was so peaceful, Wade started to think about his old life, his life with his second trainer, Jack Spark.

Jack was rather brutal in treating his Pokemon, but he did have a good side. Wade often felt neglected though, as he wasn't Jack's favorite, even though he was a shiny. And that made him rather depressed. There were fun times, but there were bad times. Very, very bad times. The moonlight will guide you, Wade. Jack said, and he was correct. Umbreon's a Moonlight Pokemon, and they weren't used to fight in the daytime - their power is depleted by 50% in the afternoon. But at night, it's a whole different story. Their power would be doubled, and they could use the ability Moonlight to heal-

Moonlight. Wade had no idea what time it was, but maybe he could heal himself, to stop himself from bleeding, at least. Using Moonlight didn't need him to move or say anything. He just had to relax and feel it. It was worth a try. Clearing all thoughts inside of him, Wade felt the power of the moon, the moon's light shining onto him from above, and he was surrounded by a strange light. His wounds glowed, and blood didn't seep out of them anymore. The bleeding stopped.

I'm going to live. Wade told himself, his thoughts still surrounded by the darkness in his mind. But how am I going to wake from the stupid coma?!

Lydia's vision was coming back to normal. As her eyelids lifted up, an unbearable headache followed with her clouded eyesight. The Zorua slowly turned her head from side to side. That huge fight wasn't a dream after all, and that's when her mind snapped. If it wasn't her imagination, Wade was still very much hurt, if not dead. Lydia pounded against the side of the trash can, spilling out loads of garbage as she tumbled backwards. She looked around to find Wade on the floor. She felt like crying, but his wounds from earlier had disappeared. He was alive.

She gripped a Full Heal out of her mane. The pokemon also reached for a Hyper Potion, but came out bare handed. It had fell out, probably from the earlier explosion. Hopefully he didn't need it, but she wasn't in the best condition either. Without another thought, she sprayed the Full Heal onto Wade's short fur, praying for some effect.

"Hey, Wade. You ok?" she said, trying to smile- though her smile probably looked a little psychotic with the blood stained on her fur. Whatever. Hopefully he liked it.

What now? Wade's voice echoed in his mind again and again. The silence was killing him, and he wanted to get out of this dark jail in his mind. He wanted to find Jack. He wanted to fight again. But was that a good decision? Apparently not. He had to train himself in the offensive part, since Umbreon has a high defense stat.

Suddenly he could feel again, as if by magic, and his ears started functioning once again. He heard some rustling next to him and a chill ran up his unconscious spine. Who? Was it Jack, trying to tie him up? Was it Althalos, coming to help him once again? Maybe it was Luke, but probably not, since the weather wasn't cold around him.

"Hey, Wade. You ok?" suddenly Wade heard a familiar feminine voice and his eyes shot open from the effect of the potion and he looked right into Lydia's eyes, getting up to his feet in seconds. I-I'm okay! Wade thought, filled with happiness as the shocked expression on his face slowly turned into a happy, thankful one.

"Y-yeah...t-thank you..." Wade spoke softly, going closer to Lydia and gave her a big Umbreon hug, "T-thank god y-you're okay..."

But then he pulled out and saw blood stains, "W-what happened?!" Wade gasped, then closed his eyes, trying to heal her with moonlight. But then, nothing happened.

"S-sorry, no power for now." Wade sighed, his feet still trembling a little.

Whoa. All in the flash of my eye, the building I was standing on got wrecked in this fight between an Umbreon and the Parachutist, who apparently had this bionic arm. I heard of some crazy things medical science can do, but that's almost unbelievable. I hurried down the building, collapsing behind me, and took shelter in a nearby convenience store. The Apocalypse gets weirder and weirder every moment. Suddenly, I heard some rattling from a trashcan. With no apparent way of this city, I decided to investigate. I saw something I swore I thought I would never see again; The Zorua from Canalave City. She was wounded, again. This time however though, the Umbreon I saw earlier that wrecked the building I was on was there too.
"Hello? Anybody there?" I said nervously. Hopefully the Zorua will take mercy on me for when I helped her earlier.

Jack looked back once, and saw the Zorua go over to Wade and heal him. "Heh." He pointed his hand at them, but stopped. A voice in his head nagged him. "Stop. Give them a chance..."

He stopped. He lowered his hand, grinned to himself, and then walked on. He decided to survey the streets. He was pretty tired, but they were under staffed. Someone had to survey the area, finding locations for exit, entry, etc. he just kept walking on, wiping the dirt from his new arm.

The BioArm had proved to be extremely useful. With it, he had taken out 3 Pokemon singlehanded. He was quite strong, and if the BioArm was with someone like a soldier, that's when the humans would wreak havoc.

Jack occasionally spotted a few Pokemon. There were some roaming around, probably trying to find a route for attack. Jack would silently follow them, and then smash his hand on their heads, and then they would lie motionless. There were a few birds in the sky too. A Zubat, or a Noctowl. He pointed his BioArm up, and would shoot them, and they would fall to the ground. It reminded Jack of Duck Hunt, a game he used to play a long time ago.

After Jack had done, he went back to the base. It was late night now, and the Pokemon Srmy would probably arrive by dawn. he looked around in the base, seeing soldiers chatting, laughing nervously. This was the calm before the storm.

Jack picked up a radio and radioed Ali and Althalos. "Ali! Althalos! Get me the Zorua and Umbreon. They are right below the building. And Althalos, you better not let them go!" He yelled.

He sat back down, and sighed. This was it. War, in its pure, raw form. The pressure was getting to Jack. He looked out of a window to see the first rays of the Sun trickle in over the horizon.

The umbreon gave her a huge hug. His fur was as soft and inviting as ever.

"I finally found you" she thought to herself. They didn't need to keep running anymore. Lydia would keep fighting, keep trying. This time she wouldn't let her very much cherished partner out of her sight. His rings glowed as bright as did so her heart.

The hug didn't last too long, however, because Wade had separated from her arms. He was looking at his fur, which she had accidentally gotten blood all over. He also peered up at Lydia's own fur, which wasn't near as gorgeous as his. The umbreon revealed a shocking expression, obviously upset. She missed his smile from earlier.

"W-what happened?!" he gasped.

The images came back fairly quickly. "Well, I saw this man throw you off the roof, and I fought him. He had a mechanic arm, psychotic smile..." she replied. She was going to explain the explosion, but she didn't know how Wade would react if she told him she saved the man that almost ended his life, "...but its fine, really. I'm ok".

Wade placed his gentle paw against her, trying to heal her through the power of the moon. Sadly, there was no effect. "S-sorry, no power for now."

"No no, its ok." well, it wasn't ok. She was still bleeding and wounds covered her body, but she couldn't blame Wade for her injuries so she had to make sure he didn't feel guilty.

"Wade, I have a question for you now. Why did that human try so hard to kill you?"

"Huh, isn't it early for the moon to be out?" mark asked himself. It was a very quiet peaceful sunset, until the silence was interupted by something, ugghh, why cant things be quiet for once. Mark stood up to look over the railing, expecting to see soldiers. Instead he saw two pokemon, mark didn't care what they were doing. He reached for his Rifle...... which was at the tv station. "Damn, there is nothing i can do from up here." Suddenly his radio crackled back to life, volume still set on max so he could here over that battle. The sound of the radio echoed all around in the extreme quiet. Mark struggled to remember where he put it, then he remembered it was over by the chair. He ran, grabbed the radio and turned down the volume. "Ali! Althalos! Get me the Zorua and Umbreon. They are right below the building. And Althalos, you better not let them go!" The order came in just a he turned down the volume. they were right there, over the edge, he could get them, but he would let them, unless they needed help of course.

Silence slowly opened her eyes and looked around at the room. All over the room were shelves full of bandages, hyper potions, full heals, and other healing items. The Weavile felt her side where the bullet had hit. The hole had closed without leaving a mark. The same for her leg. She sat up and noticed an empty full restore on a table next to the bed she had been laying on. The door opened and a Chansey came in and smiled when it saw Silence sitting up.

"It's good to see you're awake, Silence. How are you feeling?" said the Chansey.

Silence ignored the question and asked, "What's going on?"

"The commander ordered us to prepare for an attack on Jubilife City," responded the Chansey cheerfully.

The sharp claw pokemon slid off the bed and onto her feet. As soon as her feet touched the ground she walked toward the door. The Chansey apparently didn't like this very much.

"Wait! You still need to recuperate! Full restores don't restore blood you know! You need..." The overly cheerful and worried pokemon stopped short when Silence stopped and glared at her from the corner of her eye.

"We're in the middle of a war. I don't have time to wait," Silence growled and left the room with the Chansey standing there with her mouth hanging open.

Silence followed the crowd down to the bottom level of the base. She was one of the last ones in but she didn't care. At least she had made it at all. She lounged against a wall with her arms crossed as was her habit and waited for the attack to commence.

Wade's rings were glowing once again, as he had found his partner once again. He was rather worried about her, since he hadn't seen her in days. She was wounded, but alas, she was safe and sound, and most importantly - alive. He still didn't know what had caused the wounds, however.

"Well, I saw this man throw you off the roof, and I fought him. He had a mechanic arm, psychotic smile..." she answered, then she stopped, hesitating. Then after a while she finished her sentence, "...but its fine, really. I'm ok".

Wade blinked and nodded after a second of thinking. It was obvious that she was hiding something. But the Shiny Umbreon didn't want to pry, and he stayed silent for a moment. The one with the bionic arm...Jack. Wade held a growl. She was injured because of him. He was covered in guilt and sadness, but he didn't want to show his soft side. She was okay, and that was all it mattered. But that didn't comfort him, as he knew Lydia's injuries were his fault. He started to lick her wounds, grooming it, and disinfecting it with a little poison, a healthy poison generated from Umbreon tongue (it's true. Umbreon can release poison and it can heal), trying to relieve her pain.

"Wade, I have a question for you now. Why did that human try so hard to kill you?" Lydia asked suddenly, and Wade's eyes widened. He didn't expect this question. Not at all. Wade struggled inside his mind, wondering if he should tell her or not. He took a deep breath and decided to tell her.

"Jack Spark...the commander of the HR....is my ex-trainer."

The umbreon was grooming her, his poisonous saliva acting as a disinfectant. Her pain was lingering away, but Wade stopped licking her once the Zorua's question was heard aloud.

"Jack Spark...the commander of the HR....is my ex-trainer."

Jack Spark. Well, at least now she knew the name of the killer. But she gasped at the last part of the sentence; ex-trainer? D***. That's a shocker. Lydia wanted to ask further questions about their relationship, but decided it wasn't very important since they were obviously rivals now. The Zorua guessed the two had previously tried to rip each other apart on the roof, and Wade fell due to the disadvantage. However, the pokemon still seemed very vengeful. Her gentle smile had faded by now, and she looked disappointed.

"Wade, please...I know you might still be mad about whatever past experiences you've had with him, but you have to stop. I don't want you killed, and today was a close call," she said. Her voice was tender, but by now it also sounded serious, "I managed to get away because he spared my life, as I also did to him." Hiding secrets wasn't going to help. They had to talk.

Quietly mark watched the scene unfold below him. It was darker now, so all he could see were some glows. When he got out of the city, he was going to get night vision goggles.
Mark picked up his radio, to ask a favor. "Hey, althalos, you wouldn't mind bringing my rifle over here, and i get you a new one like it if you want, would you?" Mark had been playing around with his shoulder, trying to pop it back into place while talking. Mark whispered into the radio, now remembering something. "If your already off the roof, then never mind." Vargas walked back to the rail, watching for when the two unlucky victims get snatched, that's when he will come down. Though, if there were a battle, mark thought to him self "The More The Merrier, heh."

When Wade stopped grooming her and told her the answered, Lydia had an astonished look on her face, her eyes were full of confusion, but they were also full of disappointment. Did Wade let her down? Then Lydia looked at him right at the eyes, with a serious look on her face and started.

"Wade, please...I know you might still be mad about whatever past experiences you've had with him, but you have to stop. I don't want you killed, and today was a close call," She spoke, her soft voice pulling him closer to her, attracting him like a magnet, "I managed to get away because he spared my life, as I also did to him."

Wade didn't seem surprised at all. He nodded, a little smile on his face, "Lydia, is that what you're hiding? I don't care if you saved him, since even if you didn't, he's strong enough to survive by himself, but that's not the point. He saved your life, and you were just repaying the favor. You have a heart Lydia." And I don't. Wade thought, then continued, "As for fighting Jack...I have no choice, Lydia. I am a spy of the Pokemon Rebellion. I'm also a member of the assassin team, plus, I have a grudge against him. The point is, we're bound to meet again, Lydia. We're spies, and he's the commander. We'll see him again, I'm certain."

Wade reached for her paw and lay down next to her, the two Umbreon laying close to each other as Wade nuzzled her gently, "But next time, we're fighting together, okay, Lydia?"

Wade looked at Lydia once again and he moved his head forwards, then their lips met once again...
