~WarriorCats: Tigerstar Resurrected~

(Omg I am so sorry Silver XO)

Angeldust watched Silverpaw, anxious and worried. He was limping which was not good. Angeldust was as nervous as a rabbit in a fox den. She'd been to only two gatherings. One when she became an apprentice and the last one when she became a warrior. She tamped down the feelings. She kept her chin up and remained calm and collected. Now she was going to the gathering to be announced as the Deputy of Windclan. "Maybe there'll be somecat that doesn't hate us. You never know", She mewed, trying to break the silence.

ShiningStar felt heartened when he heard AngelDust say,
"I don't care what the clans think, I think you've done a great job as the leader of Windclan, Shiningstar. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise."
"Thank you AngelDust." He said and licked her cheek. "Of course there will be cats that don't hate you. Everyone there will consider you as normal cats, until I tell them about you, Silverpaw. However I can guarantee the reaction will be different. The leaders will definitely want to talk to you," he said to the small cat. "I won't tell them that you were originally a loner, AngelDust. They don't need to know, and it will only cause unnecessary tension between you." He padded onwards, and spotted the fallen tree leading them across to the island where the gatherings were held. He could hear other cats talking amongst each other. As the emerged into the opening, other cats turned to face them. A lot had a blank expression on their face, but some couldn't hide the surprise of only three cats arriving from Windclan. ShiningStar turned to AngelDust and Silverpaw.
"Now both of you, don't tell anyone about your situation. And AngelDust, I want you to come with me. In fact, it might be better if you came with me too, Silverpaw." He walked over to the other three leaders, MistyStar, FireStar and BlackStar. He sat down, waiting for AngelDust and Silverpaw to catch up.

Angeldust followed Shiningstar. She said nothing to the other cats. She sat down beside Shiningstar and looked at the three other clan leaders. Mistystar, Firestar, and Darkstar. She wrapped her tail around her paws, looking like a natural leader. Dignified and royal. She was relaxed and confident now. No cats were throwing accusations, nothing, for which she was extremely grateful for. The moonlight glittered off of her snow-white pelt, making her look like a Starclan warrior. Her lilac eyes were soft, understanding.

(Um, as per the story, one of the leaders, the leader of Thunderclan, is Darkstar, I'm assuming that was who Blackstar was supposed to be... >.< )

Silverpaw sighed and followed them easily, somehow able to hide his limp, and completely mask his blindness, by looking straight at cats with his useless eyes, and walking around normally. He seemed like any other cat, beside some groomed-over wounds, and only those who were close could see that he was blind, with no pupils in his eyes, just full, round irises. Though now, the differences were more apparrent. His left eye was sapphire-blue and his right eye was amethyst-purple. He sat with the ones he considers parents and the other leaders, aknowledging them with a curt nod, and sitting between Angeldust and Shiningstar. His pelt gleamed under the full moon, the white fur shining in a silvery glossy look. It was as if stars were shining inside him. Possibly because he was a member of Starclan, and should look like one, given the right lighting. He was surely an odd-looking cat, what with a shining pelt, despite many, many wounds, and his multi-colored eyes, the scar on his muzzle, and just the strange feeling it gave cats who weren't around him normally. He turned his face to Shiningstar, his blind eyes piercing his leader's. It was strange how he could do that, look at you even though he's blind - not even that; He looks through you. His ears shifted to Shiningstar as he waited, expecting him to speak with the leaders, maybe explain Silverpaw. He waited quietly, his tail shifting slowly.

(Don't you mean Shadowclan? I thought Firestar was still leader at this point. I got the names confused though, sorry about that)

ShiningStar watched Silverpaw slot between him and AngelDust. He look at the other leaders, all of their faces showed confusion.
"Ok ShiningStar, where's the rest of your clan?" DarkStar asked, stating the obvious.
"I'll explain everything soon. Lets get started shall we? This is already awkward enough." He jumped up on to the tree branch where he could be seen by all cats, and the other leaders followed. MistyStar poke first.
"Tonights gathering shall begin now. I shall start by saying that River clan is well fed and has been blessed with many kits this season." She looked at Darkstar who in turn said
"Shadowclan is well fed and undisturbed. We have three new apprentices, one of whom has joined us here today. That is all." He looked to FireStar
"Thunderclan is well fed and has three new kits. Two new apprentices have also been named this season. That is all. Now, ShiningStar, would you kindly explain why only two other members of WindClan are here today?" He asked, to the point.
"Yes, I suppose I should," ShiningStar started. "This season, we have been given a sign from StarClan. However, this sign is different from any normal conversation through a dream. No, this time they sent us a messenger, who is currently the apprentice here with us today, Silverpaw. Maplefur and Silverpaw have both convinced me that he is indeed from StarClan. Silverpaw has yet to relate to us the reason for his apparance, but I am assured that he will explain as soon as he knows himself. This takes me to the fact that my clan is missing tonight. When AngelDust was appointed warrior, Silverpaw arrived. After discovering he was a messenger from StarClan, our elders began to worry about an old myth passed down that after the arrival of this messenger, TigerStar would be revived. As a result, he has received much hatred, which I have vehemently opposed. However, during his progression into an apprentice under my tutoring, one cat, who no longer bares residence in WindClan territory, named Frozentail started taking the insults and opposition a step further, and started assulting Silverpaw. The result of his actions can be seen on my apprentice tonight. He also attacked AngelDust for protecting him, and insulted my leadership for the same reason. The entire clan stood against Silverpaw tonight however, and as such, they are all under severe punishment for hindering StarClan's will. None of my clan have attended for this reason. I hope that answers your question, FireStar." ShiningStar finished.
"I am sad to hear what Frozentail has caused upon your clan, ShiningStar. I am deeply intrigued by what you have said about Silverpaw, and I would be grateful to hear anymore information you have about his appearance and reason for being here, as I am sure MistyStar and DarkStar are too." The other two leaders nodded in unison. "I look forward to the next gathering, and I hope more members of WindClan can join us next time." He jumped down from the tree branch, signalling the end of the gathering. As the other leaders followed, their clans massed around them, forming lines and heading towards the fallen tree. ShiningStar followed, and landed next to AngelDust and Silverpaw.
"Lets get a move on eh?" He said following the crowd.

(Woah woah woah... No... This is after the books. Firestar is already dead, that's why they met in Starclan! And Darkstar is Thunderclan leader! >.< )

After he patrolled the border with Thunderclan, Snowpelt returned when suddenly Shiningstar called a meeting. I forgot that today is the Gathering!

Shiningstar was calling the names of cats who were going to attend the gathering. Snowpelt smiled when he heard his name. I hope I don't meet Frozentail. What if he went to the other clan? Because of his thought, he didn't notice Angeldust saying the names of apprentices, who were going to join the gathering. Then he heard:

"...and SilverPaw. They have preformed above and beyond what I had expected of them. I am truly proud of you. All of you. And I want you all to know, that I will do my very best to serve and protect my Clan".

Silverpaw was going to the gathering. It's my second time seeing a blind cat coming to the gathering. But his clanmates seemed to dislike him coming for the truce. Snowpelt watched them with shock and anger as they attacked Silverpaw. Soon, he couldn't be seen in the sea of furs. AngelDust dashed towards the apprentice, hissing at others. She took Silverpaw and went to Shiningstar. Snowpelt then heard the shocking news from his leader:

"ENOUGH!!! What has become of this clan that you all see it necessary to attack a defenseless young cat? You all disgust me, every single one of you! What do you see in him that makes you think monster? He's come from StarClan, and you should all be pleased that he's in our clan, bringing us good fortune but instead you harass and attack him. What must StarClan think of you all now? You should all be ashamed of yourselves. Now, the gathering is soon, however since this accident, you shall all remain behind for your actions. None of you shall participate this moon, and you shall think about what you've done. This ludicracy shall be reported to the other clans as well. You are all selfish, ignorant animals and I am ashamed to be your leader after this disgrace. Is this what you think LeopardStar would have wanted after achieving peace? All of you shall remain in your dens until we return. Your punishment will be decided by the time we return."

Now thanks to these cats nobody's going to gathering. He thought, looking at Goldpaw and Nightpaw. Then he looked at his leader and deputy. Well, except Shiningstar himself and AngelDust. But his predictions were wrong. Shiningstar and AngelDust took Silverpaw with them and left the camp, their tails soon out of other cats' sight. What? He's one lucky cat! Snowpelt then went to Nightpaw and Goldpaw, who were shocked with huge eyes. Snowpelt heard the black cat muttering: "He's useless. If it was not Shiningstar, I would have turned him to crow-food."

"I heard you". The apprentices raised their heads and looked at him. "I think you deserve this punishment. You should always listen to Shiningstar."
"But he didn't take you too!" - the gold tabby apprentice meowed.
"I know! But still, you shouldn't be aggresive to your clanmate. You will achieve nothing good from that".
"But-"
"Enough! Go back to your den!"

The apprentices went back to the apprentices' den, their tails and heads down. They are still kits! Blaming others when it's their fault. Tomorrow I should ask Shiningstar to make my son into an apprentice.

With these thoughts, he went to the den and lay down on his usual place on the corner. I'm also an outsider... Then he fell asleep.

(OMG Sorry, I got mixed up with the names. BlackStar is Shadowclan's leader, and DarkStar is Thunderclans, sorry!)

ShiningStar walked at a quick pace back towards camp. Today had been a bad day for him. He listened to the wind, finding out what had happened back at camp. He picked out a remark made just after he left by Nightpaw. Never mind that now. He thought. Does everyone think this of me though? I'll find out when we get back. He decided. He padded on back, but stopped amidst a bunch of trees. He turned towards AngelDust and Silverpaw who were following behind him. He waited till they'd both caught up.
"I want to ask you both, and I want you both to be honest with me. Am I a good leader, or have I done something wrong to make the others dislike me?" He asked, somewhat sadly. He wanted to know their answer, but didn't at the same time.

Angeldust was surprised when Shiningstar asked if he was a good leader. "No leader is perfect, Shiningstar. You do the best you can with what you have. You've done a wonderful job.", she mewed. She sat down and her eyes were full of sadness. "They hate you because you allowed Silverpaw and myself to stay. They don't trust cats that aren't clan-born. They see that as your fatal flaw. Your one unforgivable mistake." She knew in her heart that was true. She spent more time outside the camp than did inside. "I'm worried about what they'll do after I become leader, which I will at some point in time. They don't trust me",She mewed sadly. She nudged Shiningstar. "We love you, you big fur ball.", She said playfully.

Silverpaw looked up at the stars as he spoke, even though blindness prevented him from seeing them, making it rather odd.

"I think..." He trailed off in thought. He never lies, and he won't start now. "Starclan would be proud... I know even Firestar would have accepted what you've done, you're a fine leader andyour only flaw is the anxiety and worry you have about it, like right now." Firestar was like a legend, even after he died many years ago. But how did Silverpaw know so much? It was his last visit to Moonpool. Firestar had told him personally to pass this message on, and thiswas the perfect opportunity. His tail flicked and he nuzzled against Shiningstar's pelt.

"You underestimate yourself. Granted, not every cat attacked me, but those who didn't knew better, and they will accept the punishment without complaint. You made the right move..."

Angeldust stared up at the stars again, bored. She didn't want to do anything, but also didn't want to seem useless. So she went and cleaned the Elder's den again, making sure not to disturb any of them. As she headed back out, Spottedclaw stopped her. "Yes, Spottedclaw? Is there a thorn in your moss?", She asked. "No, there's no thorn in my moss. I wanted to talk with you.", He said. Angeldust sat down respectfully infront of Spottedclaw. "What about?", She mewed softly. "Change. There is going to be a change in the clan very soon. You may have to step up as leader.", He said. "Shiningstar has 5 lives left. He can't possibly lose them all at once....can he?", she asked. "It's been done before. To Tigerstar. Firestar ripped all of Tigerstar's lives away in one attack.", He said. They talked for a few more minutes, before Spottedclaw fell asleep. Angeldust padded silently back to Silverpaw and Shiningstar.

Silverpaw had followed Angeldust, also helping with the bedding, and the story caught his attention. The cat fell asleep after the story, and Angeldust padded back to Shiningstar, Silverpaw following. "That wasn't true... It was a Bloodclan cat, named Scourge I think... He killed Tigarstar with one swift strike, I think because he slashed his throat with a dog tooth..." Silverpaw always knew his history. Being of Starclan, that wasn't surprising. Even now, his pelt seemed to gleam like stars, in that way you only see when you're at the Moonpool, talking to an ancestor. His blind gaze was straight forward, where it usually was when he was busy in thought.

Fernshade was awake again, and she heard Silverpaw. Walking out, she said ,"Yes, it was a cat named Scourge. He didn't believe in StarClan, which made him a leader with one life. His claws were reinforced with dog teeth, making it easy to tear Tigerstar down from chin to tail tip. I heard that Firestar lost his first life before he brought Scourge down with a bite to the neck." Her eyes were shining with approval of Silverpaw's knowledge. To Angeldust she added, "What was our punishment? I was asleep." She intended to accept the punishment, although she hadn't taken part in the attack.

ShiningStar walked into the camp, behind Silverpaw. He noticed Fernshade confirming Silverpaw's knowledge. She's a good cat. He thought to himself. He padded over to the Tallrock and called
"Everyone gather!" No the usual call for a clan meeting. The warriors, apprentices and elders all gathered underneath, their faces solemn.
"I have decided your punishment. There will be none. However, I will tell you now that what you did earlier was completely unacceptable, and I will not tolerate that kind of behaviour in this clan. Silverpaw has come from StarClan and you all should be proud that he joined our clan. Instead, you beat him and made his life misery. I am going to talk to StarClan tonight to appologise for your behaviour. Another thing, what do you see in AngelDust that makes you want her out? She is a fine warrior, and has done a great job as deputy so far. You know that attacking a higher ranking cat is against the Warrior Code, so why do you do it? There is no reason to. So, I don't want this kind of behaviour again, understood?" He sat and waited for the cats to show their acknowledgment. As the did slowly, he noticed that they genuinely looked like they regretted what they'd done. "Thank you, you are dismissed." He said kindly. He walked over to his den and flopped on to his bed. I just hope I get through to them. He thought.

Angeldust followed Shiningstar after the others left. She sat infront of him, tail curled around his paws. "I'll go patrol now. Something's making me...uneasy. Like something is wrong. If I find anything I'll let you know. Get some sleep. You've had a hard day.", She mewed softly. She touched the top of Shiningstar's head with the tip of her fluffy white tail. She padded out into the night, and ran across the moor.

She walked silently along the border of Thunderclan and Windclan territory, staying on the Windclan side. Suddenly she saw a big black cat staring at her. She stopped. "What is Windclan doing sending only one cat to patrol? Perhaps your spying on Thunderclan, testing the borders for weaknesses?", The cat said.

She kept her fur flat even though this tom was making her angry. "Shiningstar knows I can handle patrolling myself. I'm simply doing my job. You are?", She mewed. "I am Darkstar, leader of Thunderclan. You?", He asked. "Angeldust. Deputy of Windclan", She replied. "Tell Shiningstar that he should mind the borders", Darkstar said. Angeldust wanted to protest, but she didn't. "Yes Darkstar", She said, bowing her head in respect.

She walked until Darkstar was gone, then she ran flat out, pelting across the moors like dogs were after her. She walked into the camp, to Shiningstar's Den. She nudged him. "Shiningstar. Darkstar's sniffing around the Windclan border. He stopped me as I was making sure no Thunderclan cats had invaded.
i'm a bit concerned.", She mewed.

-----Silverpaw overheard Angeldust talking about Darkstar. He groaned and made his way into the den with them. "Wonderful, as if Riverclan wasn't enough of a problem for us..." He shook his head and his colorful blank stare was down at his paws as he sat beside Angeldust. "I never once trusted that one... The whole gathering his fierce gaze was burning at me, ever since Shiningstar said I was a Starclan cat..." Obviously this was unusual, just as much as the fact that Silverpaw knew he was recieving a glare.
-----Silverpaw turned to his leader with an expression of disbelief, his tail twitching uneasily. "I have a very bad feeling..." He directed his blind stare down to his paws. "I think we need stronger patrols near the Thunderclan border, and more often... My feeling is getting worse... Something is going to happen..." He trailed off and his eyes widened in thought. "Um, I-I gotta go... Sorry..." He quickly trotted outside, out of camp, and towards the Moonpool.
-----"Hey, where's the little star-kitty going??" Jeered Specklepelt, a Thunderclan warrior, young and ratehr uneducated.
-----"I don't want any trouble... I'm just off to the Moonpool, so you'd best be doing your own duties." Retorted Silverpaw, and he could feel a storm coming, dark clouds shifting over the sky, and the moon.
-----"You don't belong to any of our four clans, do you?" Asked Darkstar, now sitting on the Thunderclan border with Specklepelt and two other warriors.
-----Silver felt really uneasy the way Darkstar said that. "Look, I'm not invading your territory, just leave me alone!"
-----Darkstar laughed darkly but backed away. "As you wish, but soon, that, and everywhere else around this lake, will be my territory."
-----Silverpaw padded away towards the Moonpool, feeling dull now. How do I tell Shiningstar? He is under much stress already... More bad news is not going to help him... He sighed and continued his path in silence. Up above, the clouds continued to form, and a flash of lightning struck in the far distance.

Angeldust sensed that Silverpaw was in danger and quickly ran after him. She arrived in time to see Darkstar and two Thunderclan warriors backing away and Silverpaw going to the Moonpool. She ran up the path until she was next to him. She brushed against his pelt to let him know she was there for him.

"Are you alright? They didn't hurt you, did they? If they hurt you I swear to Starclan I'll make them sorry", She mewed. She scanned the surrounding area, on high alert now. It can't be conincidence that Darkstar had found both her and Silverpaw. She was beginning to get nervous. Darkstar was evil.

The reincarnation of Tigerstar. She laid her tail over Silverpaw's back protectively. She wasn't going to let anything happen to him. It didn't matter to her that he was from Starclan. She thought of him as her kit and would give her life for his easily.

ShiningStar became alarmed at the news of DarkStar investigating the ThunderClan borders. He got up and started pacing his den. We need to sort this out maturely. Its a shame the next gathering is such a long time away. Its something to ask though. Perhaps I'd better send out a second patrol just to make sure.
He moved on to the warrior's den. He looked around, thinking of who to send.
"Okay, I need an emergency patrol to go along ThunderClan's border. Apperently, DarkStar was seen inspecting the borders, so I need some of you, preferably a larger group, to go and check it out and reinforce the borders. I don't know what's going on, so I need some more experienced warriors. Hmm, Snowpelt, Crackleclaw, Fernshade and Spottedclaw. Could you all go? I'd also like you to check the border with RiverClan, and if there's a patrol there, see if they've noticed anything. I know they're not near ThunderClan, but they might know something. All of you report to me when you get back. Off you go." He walked out of the warrior's den and sat outside the camp. He sniffed the air, and listened. He heard that Silverpaw had been spotted by DarkStar, and that him and AngelDust had gone with him. He was thankful that Silverpaw was not alone, but he wished he'd gone with them. DarkStar had definitely been there, and ShiningStar needed to find out why.

-----Silverpaw sighed and continued on the path, Angeldust now beside him, looking around worriedly. "It's alright, they went back to their camp, or maybe the Shadowclan border now..." He hung his head a bit and kept walking. "They didn't hurt me... But they are clearly going to be a problem in the future..." Quietly he made it to the Moonpool, and without a word, dipped his nose into the icy water.

Angeldust bowed her head, and sat beside Silverpaw as he touched his nose to the water of the Moonpool. She stared up at the stars, not trying to count them, but to find something. She didn't know what she was searching for, but she was looking. *Starclan, please, hear my cry. I just want to know, who is my mother? Who is my father? Why did they leave me alone? Did they not love me anymore? Was I not worth the time and effort? I'm so lost. Please help this mis-placed warrior's heart find her way back to where it can rest.*, She prayed. She didn't remember much about her parents. Clan life was all she knew. She was curious. She wanted answers. She eyed the moonpool, but shook her head. It was not her place to touch the Moonpool's waters.
