"Hey, wake up! We're going to patrol the Thunderclan border. Shiningstar told me that you're going too. Come on, you stupid furball! Wake up!"
Snowpelt woke up, yawning after his good night sleep. Apparently Shiningstar oredered him and Spottedclaw to go to the morning patrol. Snowfur still remembered the yesterday's scene where Silverpaw got attacked by numerous cats. The roars and hissing of cats, the snarling faces, unsheathed claws of all the cats... Snowpelt still couldn't understand why did his clanmates attack the helpless apprentice. He stood up and padded towards the camp entrance. He saw Goldpaw taking a mouse to the apprentices' den. All this because of that mouse-brain... He approached the two other cats and nodded, telling them that he's ready. Then he left with the other cats. He walked past the vast moor of his clan's territory towards the border with Thunderclan. But something was not right. He scented a fresh Thunderclan scent. Confused and anxious to find out more, he walked towards the bush nearby him. Then he sniffed.
Thunderclan. Snowpelt then turned towards the Thunderclan border, his claws unsheathed. He knew that Thunderclan looked more suspicious then Riverclan after Firestar's death. He knew that it was only a matter of time before they had a clan war. Snowpelt approached the border, but there was no sign of the opposite clan's warriors. I've got to tell Shiningstar about this! "I'll go tell Shiningstar about this! You stay here and guard the border." Then he pelted back towards the camp.
"I hope I will be able to fight those mouse-brains and revenge for my love... Oh, Yellowfur... I wish you would be with me now...", Snowpelt muttered. He always wanted to revenge for his mate's death and finally the chance came to him. He just hoped that Shiningstar would let him go attack the Thunderclan, not order him to guard the camp. Snowpelt was eager to make them pay for that. Just you wait...
Snowpelt then entered the camp and cried out: "Thunderclan has put their scent markers on our territory! We must do something!" I wish you were here, Yellowfur...
