~WarriorCats: Tigerstar Resurrected~

ShiningStar noticed AngelDust walk into the den, and moments later, Silverpaw raced off out of the camp. He did not follow, but rather padded outside the camp and sat down, watching the clouds float over his head. He could tell what was happening, the breeze told him everything. Silverpaw had gone to the MoonPool, and Sleetstorm and AngelDust had followed, unable to contain there interest. Sleetstorm had been caught, and AngelDust was quietly laying with Silverpaw. That's good, he thought, at least I can count of her to look after him out there. He got up, and walked towards ThunderClan's border. When he arrived, he sat and waited. Now it was just a question of whether he would show up...

AngelDust had heard him say "Thank you" in the night. When it was morning, she blinked awake. It was very early, the sun had barely begun to rise into the sky. She looked at her side and saw SilverPaw nestled into her fur. She didn't know if he was awake or not, so she nudged him gently with her nose. "Hey sleepy. It's time to wake up. We have to go out on patrol this morning", she said. She stretched, then shook to get all the moss and dirt off of her fur. She jumped down, and started back to camp. She looked behind her to see if SilverPaw was following her. "Come on. ShiningStar will have my tail if we don't show up for morning patrol", She mewed. She looked out at the moor, and saw a cat in the distance. *ShiningStar? What's he doing out so close to the ThunderClan border?*, She thought. She knew where the borders were, dispite not having patrolled them. She was curious, but she didn't go after ShiningStar. She knew better than to be nosey about the leader's business. It was just down right rude.

ShiningStar was returning from his outing, when he noticed AngelDust returning from her night with Silverpaw. He called to her
"Good morning AngelDust. How is Silverpaw?" He asked, not bothering to mention he knew what had happened. He sat down, half expecting Silverpaw to walk into view any moment.

AngelDust's ears pricked, hearing ShiningStar. "Good morning ShiningStar...", she began. She suddenly looked a bit sad, but quickly changed her expression. "SilverPaw is ok, I think. What did you want to talk to me about this morning?", She asked. She was nervous, wondering if she had done something wrong. Was he upset that she went after SilverPaw to make sure he was ok? She just didn't know. She waited politely for the answer.

"Not here," He replied. "Come to my den, it'll be better there." He said, trying to keep his expression neutral. He walked into the den, and padded across the camp. With still a short while before the morning patrol was announced, he moved into his den and sat down on his bed. He watched the entrance waiting for AngelDust to follow.

Silverpaw stretched a bit and followed after her easily, his eyes still closed. It didn't matter whether they were open or not, it wasn't like he needed them. After a few seconds they opened anyways, and he padded up beside her, his pelt brushing hers as they walked. He did not need a guide, but he liked it anyways, because he could focus on his thoughts instead of where he and everyone was. He sat with her by Shiningstar. Silverpaw greeted him with a polite nod, but said nothing. He did not feel obligated to. But it was obvious that his night by the Moonpool had serious dug into his head, as well as the Elder's outburst.

"I'll be right back", She mewed to SilverPaw. AngelDust got up and followed ShiningStar into his den. "I-I haven't done anything wrong...have I?", she asked nervously, after she was in his den. She had zero experiance when it came to the leader needing to talk to you in private, so she was jusifiably nervous. She sat down, her tail flicking nervously. She hoped she'd done nothing wrong.

(Gotta go to BOCES, be online in a few minutes...*checks clock* Like 15-20 minutes, ok? Don't get too far ahead with out me)

"No, its nothing bad. At the moment, Windclan has no deputy after Ashfoot, and I need to appoint someone soon, in time for the next gathering in three days. I wanted to know if you would take the post. I can rely on you, and trust you more than most, especially when it comes to Silverpaw. I can't look after him all the time." He winked. He gazed into her eyes, trying to discern what she would be thinking, and just overall studying her. ShiningStar knew he'd done something incredibly rash, and this would cost him most probably.

Silverpaw was back on his stump, sitting quietly. He listened with a bit of shock as Shiningstar appointed Angeldust as Deputy. He knew eavesdropping was wrong, but he really couldn't help it. He had such wonderful hearing, the he found it hard to ignore such a conversation. He felt like making it less of eavesdropping and more of getting involved. He walked in nonchalantly, and sat beside Angeldust. He felt like he was involved in this anyways, and it was better to be hear with them than to be out there listening in.

AngelDust blinked in shock. Her? Be WindClan deputy? "I...Um...Wow...Me as deputy...", She stuttered. She hadn't actually thought of being deputy one day. She couldn't let ShiningStar down. "Yes. I will take the post of deputy and do my absolute very best to serve and protect my clan", She mewed. She had noticed that SilverPaw had come in from the corner of her eye. She wasn't going to scold him. If had been any other young apprentice, She'd have boxed their ears good and hard. Instead she flicked her tail over SilverPaw's shoulder. She waited to see what ShiningStar would say. She wondered what SilverPaw thought. She looked at him, a question in her eyes.

ShiningStar was surprised to see Silverpaw walk in, but he knew he'd heard.
"I thought you knew it was bad manners to walk in to the leader's den when he's having a conversation. Just because you can hear what's being said, doesn't mean you should walk in. Remember that in future. Its not so important now though. I'm going to announce it soon." He said kindly. "Silverpaw, you know you're not hated, don't you? At least not by me anyway. I'm getting older, and you've been as much my kit as your mother's. If you need to talk, please just ask. I don't want you running out to the Moonpool again like that either. and you can bet your life Sleetstorm is going to get a talking to as well." He got up, and stopped when he was next to AngelDust.
"And neither do I want you running off. Its getting dangerous around here, I can feel it." He whispered. He walked out and hopped up onto the Tallrock.
"Let all cats old enough to hunt their own prey gather beneath the Tallrock for a clan meeting!" He called. Cats soon emerged from their dens and sat just in front of the rock. He studied them, and watched AngelDust and Silverpaw emerge from his den. He waited patiently for all the cats to settle.
"I have decided upon our new deputy in Windclan," He called, making sure he could be heard."I say these words before the body of Ashfoot, so that his spirit may hear and approve of my choice. AngelDust will be the new deputy of WindClan!" He listened to the cats all start mumbling amongst themselves.
"She has proven herself more than enough times while hunting, and is very trust worthy." He added, unsure what the cats might think of him now. One cat yelled,
"What about Sleetstorm? He's more able and trustworthy than that outsider!" Other cats meowed in agreement.
"I chose AngelDust for this reason, so you wouldn't treat her as an outsider! And if anyone else disrespects AngelDust anymore, there WILL be serious repercussions." He let his words sink in for a few moments. Now we have the matter of today's morning patrol. I have chosen Sleetstorm, AngelDust and Silverpaw to attend. Tonight I would like Speckledfur, Snowpelt and Speckledfur's apprentice to patrol. That is all." He jumped down and sighed. This will take some time to settle down.

AngelDust flinched visably as one cat called out "What about Sleetstorm? He's more able and trustworthy than that outsider!". It hurt that she got this kind of reception. She stayed put, fighting back the tears that threatened to flow. As soon as ShiningStar left, She turned around and raced off across the camp, not caring that the others might think her posessed. She ran until she reached the edge of the lake. Her body was shaking, her whiskers trembling. She sat down, miserable. She let the tears she'd been fighting back flow down her muzzle and onto the ground. She yowled in hurt. "After all I've done, this is what they think of me?!", She mewed loudly, her voice carrying out over the moor. "I've proven time and time again I would lay my life on the line for them, for WindClan!! And this is how they treat me?! I SHOULD HAVE STAYED LOST!!!", She yowled, her muzzle was soaked from her tears. She laid down, her paws over her muzzle. The white warrior didn't usually cry, so this kind of an outburst was shocking and worrying. She had just let the comments roll off of her back and not bother getting upset before. She had been thrilled when ShiningStar offered her the Deputyship, after getting over the initial shock. Now she was depressed and felt worthless. After a few moments she wiped away her tears and stood up. She then walked back to camp, and sat down next to the Elder's Den, waiting for SilverPaw and SleetStorm to hurry up so they could go patrol the borders. She needed to get out more anyways. *What will the other Clans think of ShiningStar choosing me as Deputy of WindClan?*, She thought.

ShiningStar watched carefully as AngelDust reentered the camp. She looked awful and now he almost felt that bad. He should have seen this coming, but ShiningStar refused to believe that his clan could be so evil. Threatening them was a bad idea too, but he was cross at Frozentail for saying such a thing. He felt dizzy, and decided to go to back to his den, or should he see the Medicine cat? I don't know anymore! He thought to himself. He decided he would talk to AngelDust as soon as she return, to see what she felt she wanted to do. But for now, he would rest. He turned into his den and laid down. He closed his eyes, and let darkness sweep over him.

"I thought you knew it was bad manners to walk in to the leader's den when he's having a conversation. Just because you can hear what's being said, doesn't mean you should walk in. Remember that in future. Its not so important now though. I'm going to announce it soon."

Silverpaw bowed his head respectfully and spoke.

"My apologies. I'd just rather be in the conversation than eavesdropping, it seemed far less rude this way... It was a lose-lose situation though..."

"Silverpaw, you know you're not hated, don't you? At least not by me anyway. I'm getting older, and you've been as much my kit as your mother's. If you need to talk, please just ask. I don't want you running out to the Moonpool again like that either. and you can bet your life Sleetstorm is going to get a talking to as well."

"No..." Silverpaw frowned and continued. "You and Angeldust are my only friends... Everyone hates me. And they probably hate her even more because she protects me. They may slightly hate you too for it..."

It was a bit harsh, but Silverpaw was blunt about things. At least he was honest though. His eyes widened a bit as he remembered the Moonpool.

"I... I-I wanted answers... And... I got some of them..."

His head dropped a bit sadly. He was still shaken by the news. He sighed.

"Um... I'll tell you about it later... But... I know who my father is now..."

With that, he left. He found Angeldust sitting at the camp entrance and sat beside her. Her pain and sadness after the clan meeting was coming off of her in waves. He knew nothing he said would help.

I might as well have been a loner myself...

He knew he couldn't say anything to cheer her up, so he leaned against her, nuzzling his head into her side. His eyes closed and he felt the warmth of her fur overwhelm him. He didn't care who his mother was - well, that isn't really true. It was not the psychotic Elder. Who was it? Nobody. He was a Starclan cat. His father is Jayfeather. He did not neccesarily have a mother, but Angeldust seems to have taken that role with no questions or secon thoughts. Maybe it was because they had similar problems...

AngelDust ignored the stares and snide comments about her....that is, until one of the warriors went too far. She didn't know who said it, and she frankly didn't care. "What did you just say to me?!", She hissed. She guessed it was FrozenTail, the same one who had made the first comment. "Oh? Am I offending you by calling you a kitty-pet? You shouldn't be offended, considering that's all you are. Your nothing but a sad, useless, pathetic, weak kitty-pet who got lost on her way home and our Leader took pity on you because your pretty and young and innocent.", He said, smirking. AngelDust's fur spiked, her ears flattened against her skull, and she growled. "Aw, what's the matter kitty-pet? Did I make the little kitty-pet angry?", he continued. *Don't do anything rash, Don't do anything rash*, She chanted in her mind. "I know what happened to your mother and father, kitty-pet....They abandoned you because your weak and not worth the effort to try and make you strong enough to live on your own. And you know what else, kitty-pet? If our leader was smart, he'd do the same thing and run you out of the Clan.", he said, looking down at her. AngelDust let out an ear-splitting yowl of anger. She launched herself at FrozenTail, grabbing onto him by the scruff of the neck with her claws, biting him hard. She could taste the blood in her mouth, but ignored it. She had had enough of this torture....of his torture. She didn't care if ShiningStar yelled at her, she would make this arrogent tom sorry he'd messed with her. The sweet, kind, polite AngelDust was replaced by the angry, relentless, deadly AngelDust. She yowled again, letting FrozenTail go. She hissed at him. She sat back down next to SilverPaw, her tail swishing angerly. She cleaned her claws off, removing the fur and blood. "You had better think twice before you run your mouth again, mousebrain", She said. She kneeded the ground with her claws, trying to relieve the tingling.

Silver frowned as Angeldust took care of the vermin known as Frozentail. He hated violence, but Frozentail surely deserved it. How dare he antagonize her like that?

"I don't think Shiningstar will be too mad at you... He should not be acting in such a way."

Had he read her mind? Or was it a mere coincidence that he said that? He continued to nuzzle his head against her quietly, enjoying Angeldust's victory.

AngelDust calmed down as SilverPaw continued nuzzling her side, pressing his head against her fur. "No, he should not have, but I also think I was in the wrong just as much as FrozenTail. I behaved like an outsider would. I acted before I thought about consequences that would come from my actions. If ShiningStar does reprimand me, don't step in and try and to get me out of trouble. Promise?", She said. She would surely lose the Deputyship after that stunt. She'd be lucky if that's all that happened to her. ShiningStar had every right to throw her out of the clan. If he did, she would abide by his wishes and never set paw on WindClan territory again as long as she lived. She hung her head, and waited for ShiningStar to come and throw her out. She listened to ShiningStar as he told her what her punishment was. She had to look after Elders for the rest of GreenLeaf. Which actually wasn't so bad, seeing as she did that on a daily basis anyways. "Yes, I would like to retain the Deputyship....", she started. She lowered her voice. "I apologize for my reaction to the situation, but he said things about...my parents", she said. ShiningStar knew she had no parents. He also knew how touchy she was about that subject. She didn't even remember her parents anymore. " He needs to learn respect. If you'd let me, which I know you won't, I'd go over there and box his ears a good bit.", she said. "Thank you for not throwing me out. You have every right to you know. But you didn't. Why?", she asked.

[Carry on from here, I was going to restart, then you editted before I could respond in time]

He felt she was punishing herself more than she was letting on.
"Don't feel so down. I used to be in a similar position as you once." Whe he heard the question
"Why?" He became apprehensive.
True, he didn't quite know why, but he couldn't explain to her yet. It wouldn't be right.
"I'm going to speak to FrozenTail. Ask me that some other time, ok?"
He walked off, not turning back. He walked towards the Medicine Cat's room. She was gone, but he saw FrozenTail sitting with his neck plastered with cobwebs and he was chewing some poppy seeds.
"FrozenTail. You disobeyed my order. Now you shall be punished accordingly. You shall lose your warrior's name for the rest of Greenleaf, and shall attend to the Elders for all of that time. You shall also be forced to obey even apprentices, and should you disobey, your punishment will be made worse. This is your last chance. Disobey me again, and you shall be banished. No warnings. He felt good after that, and went to sit outside, needing space away from everyone else.

(Sorry ShiningStar)

AngelDust sat there, confused. He wanted to tell her something, but he didn't *Oh well. Maybe he's got a lot of stuff he has to do. Speaking of, I should go take care of the Elders now*, she thought. She got up and went into the Elders Den. She recognized SpottedClaw. He was the only one who didn't hiss at her or cringe away when she walked by. She got to work on replacing the Elder's bedding, taking out used moss and bringing in new moss. She had done every Elders bedding except one. A she-cat that sat in the corner. Silver's mother. She quietly took out the used, dirty bedding and put in fresh, clean moss. She then went and had to pick the fleas and ticks off of the elders. This was the part she didn't like. She had to use mouse bile to get the ticks off. Nasty smelling stuff. She only had one elder left. Silver's mother. The white warrior was actually scared of the old, frail she-cat. She only hoped that she was in a good mood this time. AngelDust didn't really want to visit the Medicine Cat today. She got the ticks off and most of the fleas before the she-cat started growling. AngelDust quickly finished, leaving no flea on the elder. She then pelted out before she could be swiped with a paw. Then she went and got food from the fresh-kill pile for them. She actually liked spending time with the elders. She'd learned a lot from listening to their stories. After that, she rinsed her paws off in the lake. She padded back to SilverPaw, and waited once more for SleetStorm.

[My fault really XD]

ShiningStar watched as he saw Sleetstorm join Silverpaw and AngelDust. He would have to suspend his timetable to watch over them and make sure Sleetstorm didn't do anything stupid either. He's always been good though ShiningStar thought. He wanted to cast away his worries and just lay down in a tree somewhere, but in his current position, that wouldn't be possible. He had to tell her, at some point, but when. even if she didn't feel the same way, he needed to get it off his chest somehow. But he couldn't, how could he? It would create a situation of which there was no escape, and the only exit was a bad one. He would have to think of something.
