It varies. Yesterday it was worse, and I've had worse before yesterday. I can breath fine, it just hurts.

... Oh. How long? Pain has been coming and going since at least Fall of 2009, since I remember crying during Band Practice it was so bad. Kept going though, because I didn't want to sit out.
