I fail at Monster Hunter so much ;; But I love it anyways.

It's really hard for me to use the analog stick and the R button because of my arms, so yeah.

/wishes it was as easy as it looked in Monster Hunter Orage

Nudgey, that sounds like fun, aside from the hail. /loves thunderstorms

Ros, believe me: it's still no easy task with that game. It takes about 40% skill, 50% luck, and 10% reflexes..... I only have about that last 10% |DDD;

27. Well, the storm was pretty bad, didn't last for too long though.
Saw something on the power lines explode and we haven't had power since which kinda sucks.

I noticed that Facebook update of yours. You said a streetlamp exploded? How does that happen? =b

31

XDDD And what color was it originally, nee? :X

/is currently in the process of writing his first one, a oneshot, for take a guess what series =b

32. @Stand Alone: I'm not sure exactly haha. Across the road from my house there's trees and stuff then another road. Anyway, I was looking outside watching the storm (there was really heavy rain, a heap of thunder, really heavy wind and lightning and stuffz.) then the actual light on the streetlight, which is up against a telegraph pole, just exploded into a ball of sparks and stuff.
It looked pretty cool ;D haha

And, what's your one-shot gonna be on? :)

Nudgey, sounds to me like the power line may've gotten hit and the circuit overcharged the light, causing it to "burst."

Nice, Peach. I'm guessing you washed it with some red clothes on a warmer wash setting? =b

And yes. It is DGM. Given the latest arc, many people have been left to ponder as tho exactly what it is in Kanda's original past. This is kinda my attempt to guess at that. /has never written a fic before and finds it quite interesting to do

35. Yeah that's what I've been thinking. And seeing as it happened about 2 hours ago and still there's no power in this area it's the only plausible idea I've got lol.
EDIT: the power came back as I posted this :S

You'll have to let us read it first, yes? ;D

36.

HOW'D YOU GUESS?

Yeah, that's it. XD; I tossed my Red jacket in there not knowing that there were some white clothing mixed in. Whoops. Shows my sister and I not to load separately again. Oh well. NOW I CAN BE SPECIAL WITH MY PINK ALUMNI SHIRT. /brick'd

yes, please show it to us when you're done. :D though I prolly should read DGM first.

Reading fanfics and hearing you make a one-shot makes me want to try to attempt finished either the ToA one I started a while ago, or attempted to start and finish another type of fanfic. hnnn.

I don't mind letting people read it, but it is kinda spoiler-heavy. Just fyi. All I've got right now is just a page and a half, and it's completely bare bones. I have an odd writing process, I've established:

  1. Brainstorm
  2. Write a bare bones
  3. Edit grammar and add more
  4. Repeat
  5. Repeat
  6. Repeat (this continues until I'm happy with it)
  7. Have someone proofread it
  8. Edit a final time
  9. Let others read it
Generally, people write as much as they can and as well as they can and go from there. I like to purposely leave details and certain relevant information out of my stories until later on, so I can better decide where best to put in my ideas. It drives my sis, a creative writing major, absolutely insane |DDDD;

I actually don't think I'm a bad writer. I just.... I often feel like I rush things too much.

Also, I know from somewhat personal experience. It was fun watching my roommate do his first load of laundry in his life the beginning of this semester. 0:3 /believes that sometimes the best way to learn is through utterly hilarious failures

38. I had a try at writing a Bleach fan fic a couple months back. I wrote about 20-30 pages then completely forgot about it, you reminded me about it by mentioning yours lol

You're kidding right? He'd NEVER done his own laundry before? D:

39.

Haha. So it does sound like I should read DGM before being allowed to read it once your finished. Well, perhaps it'll be that which will give me some motivation!

Well... least you have a set way to write. I pretty much do did the following:

1. Brainstorm.
2. Write the 'draft'
3. Read it a few times. Make changes.
4. Have Rossu-Pie someone proofread it
5. Finishing touches (in the case of the one-shot... create an ending. So really this kind of should have existed if I had brainstormed the whole way through. :B)

.... I should really come up with a better way to write my oneshots. No wonder I've only gotten one finished. Though my other two were.. close? But damn. I'm really considering writing one. I have no idea what it would be about though.

Nudgey: I wouldn't mind reading that of yours =b

Peach: You don't HAVE to read it. Basically, it's just.... hmmm..... yeah. It doesn't really have anything to do with the plot per se, yet it does. Tis weird sounding like that, but.... I can't really say anything without spoiling a great arc of a series I LOVE.

Thing with DGM, though, is three things: The art is amazing, the story VERY rich with AMAZING characters, and the third is kinda..... well... good and bad. DGM is known for its cliffhangers. I swear, every month almost since it came off hiatus, I've been left panicking and raeging for more. Especially this last one -.-

Another thing I forgot to mention was that, generally, I write with the ending pretty much already finished =b I know how I want my stories to end. Getting there is always the fun part.

OH! Almost forgot: may I read your oneshot that you finished? 0:3

=b It'll probably be mostly done by end of break in about 3 weeks, if I stick to it. Tis my goal, anyway. I don't write stuff very often that people see, but once I get on the creative train, and get that first person to read it, I kinda tend to go all out with my work. ^^;

The arc now is pretty much over, I'd say. It's one of those arcs that's like, there is no pause between each arc. It's like, consecutive chain of events, but the thing about Kanda and his story I think is over. As for length, the latest chapter was 202 I believe. Up until chapter 187, and chapter 1, the chapters are usually 20 pages long, I think. Chapter 1 was like, 60. Chapters 187-current are around 40. However, there are a lot of double pages, so it makes it easier. I generally can go through about a chapter in about 5-10 minutes, and that's with time allotted to absorb the content and art. With page load, though, it's generally 12-18 minutes a chapter.

With mine, though, it is set in the past. So you already know how it is supposed to end. Just not the details of how it ends.

Personally, I find a personal journal the best way to do that. Or to just, ya know, verbalize things and work them out.

heehee, awesome! :D

I read through walls and walls of text in Detective Conan. As long as there aren't many blocks of text, me getting through DGM wouldn't be too hard to accomplish. <3

True, true! Kind of makes me want to do my interpretation on the Four Seraphim's journey 4000 years ago, but there's so many parts, and technically there is something that tells the story... but it's in the Japanese PS2 version of Symphonia. D; Then there is the MithosxGenis idea. But I can't think of anything good. >___>

Awwww. You shouldn't be angry, Zeffy!
