These are the types/type combinations that I do not want more of:
  • Normal
  • Normal/Flying (Probably the most common type combination. Seriously, can't they be pure Flying types?)
  • Rock/Ground (A suicidal type combination.)
  • Water

Poison could use a lot more diversity... and there are plenty of Snake and Spider species to compensate this. I have a lot of ideas and there are many type combinations that would go great with it, like a Komodo Dragon Pokemon being Poison/Dragon or Fire, both being amazing type combinations, but Earthquake would be annoying...

i agree with changing from normal/flying to only flying-type

What's wrong with Normal Flying? It makes sense; they are normal creatures that fly. What would happen if a pure flying-type used Roost?

Besides, why would you want to remove the Ghost immunity they get? That would only make them less usable.

Personally, I would like to see the addition of more bug and ghost types as I think they're a bit underestimated and generally lacking in numbers. I actually don't think any type has too many and, if more of the ones I stated above are added, then we can reach some sort of stalemate with the numbers. XD;

There are hardly any flying and fire types, and for flying I reffer to Non legendary.
At least in Sinnoh, if you dont use fly on a staraptor, you have like... Drifloon and stuff

We need more dark types, and more pokemon that evolve with the thunder stone! It's been around for fourteen years, and yet the only pokemon to evolve by it are Pikachu and Eevee.

Fire most DEFINITELY.

I mean look at DPPt, the only Fire-Types we had in DP were Chimchar and Ponyta... and in Pt, they threw in Houndour :\

There aren't many Steel type Pokemon that are actually common (besides Bronzor, Aron, and Magnemite)

The other ones are ones that require EFFORT to get, you know?

Maybe a Steel type that doesn't require so much effort to get...

...They will gain normal damage against Fighting types as well. 3:

I like the concept of "normal creatures can fly", but the thing is when you used Double Kick against a Swablu, it gets normal damage, which is kind of annoying to me as it doesn't make sense.

Fire and Ice types, in my opinion. Fire and Ice types also need more creative move sets.
Fighting, like you said, used to be sparse, but they're fine now. I'm also fine with the number of Eelectric types....maybe that's just because I hate them all! :D (except Jolteon, Magneton and Magnezone :P)

And we do not need more flying types. And since flying is merely just a an action, how would a Pokemon be only a flying type? I've always hated that type name, "Flying". It's so general. They should have left it (it was going to be called Bird types) as Bird. Maybe if it was bird then it could be pure Bird. But like I said, Flying is just an action, and as such, is too common to be a single type.

I was pretty sure it was only a quarter. Have to check that! It makes sense though as water is life.

Anyways Fire, Electric and Ice are all lacking in my opinion especially fire types. There are 33 (12 of them starters of course) Fire types not including Arceus, not much for something that's supposed to be grouped with Water and Grass. 22 of those Fire types came from the first two generations too, they seem to be a dying breed for some reason...

Maybe cause there's so many water types around...XD
I think there should be some more fire types as well, especially early on because fire types are usually pretty useful.
Also maybe some more bugs, but stronger, as others have said.
