We Need More ______ Types!

What types of Pokemon do we need the most in Gen V?

I'll post my feelings for each type...


Water: My god, we have too many.

Bug: I'm sick of these. I'll accept them if they're actually decent, like Scizor and Yanmega.

Psychic: Am I the only one sick of Psychic legends?

Normal, Poison, Ground, Rock, Grass, and Flying: The amount we get right now is fine.

Fighting: I use to think we were lacking here, but DP gave us some great ones like Lucario, Toxicroak, and Infernape. Let's continue with that.

Ghost, Steel, Ice, Dragon, and Dark: Maybe just a little more.

Fire and Electric: Moar.

well we do need some more dark types, but we need more beefed up bug, flying, and grass types.


vispaqueen, heracross, staraptor, and torterra are powerhouses, I think we need more powerhouses from those types

Steel, Steel pokemon are awesome but they're lacking.

More Steel, Fire, and Dragon types. I may get some arggo for this, but more Water types too. I know there are to many, I agree, there are to many crappy Water types. I would like a few more good ones.

Fire: In my opion we didn't have enough of them in Gen IV so maybe we need a few more.
Water: We obviously have way too many, and I am sort of getting sick of 'em.
Grass: There is quite a group of grass types, athough I'd like to see a bit more added to the new Gen.
Poison: I love posion types, sadly there isn't alot of them. I want MORE!
Rock: I don't really like rock types as thier ugly. ( Except for Cranidos - Rampardos)
Ground: Argh I hate ground types they are annoying! I do not want any more!
Dark: We need more and soon! The games are lacking in this type.
Pshycic: I love these types but we don't need anymore!
Steel: Steel types a greeat we need heaps more! Bring 'em on!
Flying: I also love flying typs but I think we need just a tiny bit more, that'd be great.
Ghost: Ghost types are all right maybe a few more would be good.
Electric: Maybe a bit more as well as we were lacking so many in Gen IV
Normal: BORING (Execept for Snorlax) we need a few more but that's IT!
Bug: Ahk! Eww I hate bug types except for Scizor. No more of those creepy crawlies!
Ice: Oh yeah! "They're as cold as Ice!" Love 'em! More more MORE!
Dragon: Cool and Calm yet tough as well most people want more and so do I!

Alright well let's take some things into consideration. Firstly, the reason there are so many water types, is due to the fact that most of the earth is made of water.

More Water = More Water Animals = More Water Pokemon.

Now I do think they should stop the rediculous amount of water Pokemon, but most of these were fillers. Let me ask you this; weren't all you guys annoyed by the water routes in Gen I, with the thousands of Tentacool?

Now I definetly agree there should be more more Beefy bug types, perhaps more Bug/Fighting types?

Also a very common complaint I've been seeing is lack of Dark and Steel types. I have an idea which could help. You are going to hear 2 complaints solved at once.

Kabutops + Omastar Evos.

The Kabutops Evo could have all of his limbs as Scythes, and perhaps have red eyes, and a darker color. Omastar Evo could have a huge steel shell and mammoth size tentacals, giving it the look of a giant squid with a shell. Red eyes and dark color would be nice here as well.

I wish there were more ground types. Also more fire types. Perhaps a desert Pokemon which is Fire and Ground.

I also would like more Ice types. They honestly don't even have to be clever with this. Perhaps an Ice cube of some sort?

We need more Electric types definitely. there really aren't that many good ones

MOAR Ghosts! Specifically, I want to see some more interesting combos, like a Ghost/Ground-type Zombie, or a Ghost/Fighting shadow boxer, or some kind of Water/Ghost kraken/cthulhu thing. There's so many legends to draw from with Ghosts that I feel are being greatly overlooked.

PS: I'd also like to see some kind of stitch-work, Jack Skellington kind of Ghost-type Eevee; Geisteon or something =DD

Fire: I'd say this type needs the most help. There aren't too many and the newer fire types bore me.
Water: I could live without another new water Pokemon.
Grass: I love the grass type, but in all honesty we have a good bunch already.
Poison: I'm not a big poison user so I'm fine without anymore.
Rock: I guess I could go for a few more.
Ground: No more.
Dark: Another suffering type. Dark Pokemon need a lift.
Psychic: Love this type, but there is already quite a few decent ones.
Steel: I would love some more steel types!
Flying: As long as their based of birds then fine. No more flying types that can't use the HM fly.
Ghost: Although there are only a couple ghost types most of them are decent enough to keep me satisfied.
Electric: Electric Pokemon seem to be on the dwindling list lately. Pachirisu was a complete fail.
Normal: There's enough for me.
Bug: I almost never use bug Pokemon. Adding some more would just mean less room in my pc box.
Ice: I'd love some new solo ice editions! No more dual types please.
Dragon: Ehhh.. I'm getting bored of the dragon type.
Fighting: I'd love some more, but I wouldn't say it's a type in need.

A Ghost/Ice type.
That would be epic, since both need more Pokemon.

Dark Types, In fact I want a Dark Wolf. None of that Mightyena crap. I want a real Wolf. (Even though Mightyena is cool.) Some more Bug and flying would be nice too.

We need more DARK TYPES, or atleast enough so we can have a dark type gym.

and i think some more decent poison types, i'm just so sick of bikers having only grimer/muk and koffing/weezing!

We need more [close to the start of a game] Fire types, as in most of the games fire types are VERY limited.

A few more electric types.

More Ice types (see what I said for Fire).

More Bug types that can be used later on in the game.

NO MORE DARK TYPES. They fill so many of the niches already, there are loads of Dark/XXX typings and they are just... bleh.
