Website Annoyence's

Ah yes, I see now. I apologize for that.

Indeed though, people do use to many highly-saturated colors on websites.

People that think they own someones site/forum

People that think their forum is a website, not in the sense that its just a forum portal, in the sense that they have a link in their sig that says "Visit my awesome website!!!" and it turns out to be a bright green proboards forum with no topics and no members

Generic & Boring Sites

AKA THe Serebii clone. No personal opinions at laa, the layout is even similar to Serebiis. they remove the fun content and such. The remotely enjoyable stuff is generic 'Skating Pikachu'. yeah, we've had that before. Can you be original or something? <<
Oh I could not agree more

"Serebii does ep pics so lets do some...he does about 300 and so shall I. His are 200x150 so I'll do that too"

Every day I see sites imitating me, they say imitation is the best form of flattery, and while it is in some manners...it gets annoying when they all do it and its nothing but it...but when they imitate, steal my stuff, layouts and how I even write and reflect such as PokeJello using "Well, " at the start of every paragraph of his updates.

Adding another annoyance to the list so that I'm not ranting

Proclaiming your site as #1 or the best

By doing this you're not only telling people that you're not the best, but you're putting yourself on such a high pedestal that they're going to be disappointed. Look at my site, essentially it is the best, we're almost in the 6 figures for Unique Visitors each day and everyone in the Pokemon and most people out of the Pokemon Community but like Pokemon know of my site, but I don't goaround on my site telling everyone that. It's unprofessional, tacky and almost always tauros faeces

Let's not forget them finishing their update with a
"That's all for today,Cya!"

Yeah,I have alot of sites to show you how much call themselves the #1 site with real stupid slogans such as the following. Although that would be bashing.

"Your #1 source for pokemon info"

"Everything you can wish for Pokemon"

"Don't get your daily dosage of Pokemon anywhere else!" (No offense Steve,I actually like your site, just a bad slogan.;)

"The best place for pokemon info"

Your sites just a little nothing, stop calling yourself the number 1 source when it isn't even the best aside from it being a piece of crap site with only 2-3 sentences for each page. Nobody else uses it as there number one source. I don't use it as my number one source.

Broken English

For the love of god write sites in proper english and grammar. I know I have been guilty of not doing this on occassion but it is unprofessional and thus I have stopped doing it.

If you want your site to be respected. Speak in proper english. No slang, no cut-offs in sentences, no complete lower case and use good grammar.

One I love is the splash page.

As Dragonfree said, splashes are only necessary if you have an advisory that you want to give viewers before they move on to the site. Stripped of these necessities, it is nothing more than a foretaste of what's going in there, which can be readily determined by actually viewing the main page, and is a pain on those with poor connections due to the fact that you have to load a page that is usually intensive in graphics before you get somewhere that truly is useful.

What I hate is that stupid DON'T CLICK THAT BUTTON of cource someone will click it (me) and you get that annoying message box

****,now you got me in there.;~;

Boring..
This kind of site is almost the same as I spoke of before but this is different. Let's say I'm making a website, and I want it to be like Suta-Raito. I than start USING EVERY SAME PAGE with the SAME old boring content. Take Aorio Hoshi(https://aoriohoshi.goldbananas.com) she has almost every same link like VN & SR. God! Be unique, nobody is going to visit your site when it doesn't have anything different than any other site. They can just visit SR or VN when it's being a way better website.(No offense Mem,I like your website,it has a cool layout and really nice decoration, Just not unique enough.)

Incorrect Spelling and Slang.

If your going to make a website do it in a form of writing that isn't a puzzle to decipher. And incorrect spelling is just a crime, since you could easily run a spell check.

Content Rippers
I despise people who steal content, or rip/steal an idea from another site. If you need to steal someone elses' content, than all your doing is making a replica of a site with nothing special at all.

Do no know what a paragraph is.
In other words, people who have a whole page of content bundled up into one gigantic blob of text. This would probably fit in with other things said, but I feel it's annoying enough to recive it's own mention.

Also - I agree with most of the stuff said in here, mainly the colour thing, people with eye blinding "default" red layouts make me sad. :(

I do this most of the time for the case of being lazy and when I have too much information. Although I'm planning to fix every page on my website with that.

It's the webmaster's fault for not choosing a better host.
