Misty just had the best personality, being aggressive and whatnot.

May has the best style (especially her emerald outfit) and her contests weren't as boring as Dawns, mainly because of the variety of her pokemon.

I would have to say May. But if there was an option, I probably would've voted James, maybe Jessie. Probably not Mewoth though.

Oooh Its a tie between Dawn, May, Dento, all three characters are my favorite supporting characters. Bum Bum Bum I say Dento as of now, followed by Dawn and thid place is May, who I miss.

I voted for everyone except Max. He's not a horrible supporting character, he was just annoying at times... Anyway:

Misty: I loved her interactions with Ash, and she's a classic character. It was great how she overcame her fear of Gyarados and actually ended up owning one. And her prowess with Water-type Pokemon tactics is hard to match (stupid Water Pulse-spamming Starmie!) Plus she began the hotness in Pokemon that many Pokemon girls would follow. :cer_love:

Brock: Despite never actually seeing him breed anything, his antics with Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy were hilarious at times, plus he was the first Gym Leader I got accustomed to. And he can cook for the team, and he has knowledge in the Pokemon medical field, so he doesn't just stand there whenever his or another person's Pokemon gets hurt. A classic character and a sympathetic Gym Leader in such a long-running series. Oh, and he has a freaking Steelix. :t208:

Tracey: Kind of unfamiliar with his eps, but he was a decent supporting character who was funny at times. It was also great how he introduced viewers to the concept of Pokemon watching, and he even has Pokemon to assist him in the fieldwork. And he has a Scyther :t123:. I wish it evolved into a Scizor, though...

May: She's freaking cute/hot and she was a refreshing character who followed in the vein of Misty. May was also my first rival in the Pokemon games, so I have a soft spot for her. A great Coordinator, with great Trainer sense as well considering she decided to start out with Torchic and now owns a Blaziken. :t257::) And she models biker shorts for females amazingly well. :cer_love:

Dawn: a confident individual, with a talent for beautiful move entries in Pokemon Contests. I have a soft spot for her as well, and I can't wait to encounter her in the games. She has a beautiful name and an awesome catchphrase (Daijobu!) And she managed to pull off this great scene with a Grimer, of all Pokemon! :)

Let's see...she also has a Quilava, a freaking cute Pachirisu, and a behemoth that is Mamoswine. Piplup is...decent..I just hope it becomes an Empoleon at some point (darn Pikachu ripoff). Finally, she's freaking out in her DP and Platinum outfits. :cer_love:

Iris: just getting introduced to her in Best Wishes, but not much to say yet. Owning a Kibago nets her cool points, and she's on her way to unleashing the raw power...OF DRAGONS!!! Being the 8th Unova Gym Leader in the game(s) is also impressive. She has a beautiful name as well, and I'm glad that it was retained in the anime's English dub (coincidentally, her name along with May and Dawn are partially associated the image of rainbows). Lastly, she leapt from treetop to treetop like a freaking ninja, so she garners even more cool points. :D

Cilan: Uh...I haven't even been introduced to him yet, but he still seems cool at first glance. Awesome name with a neat profession, to boot.
