What does it mean when you have a small little smile next to your pokemon?

just a note pokerus lasts around 24 hours(correct me if im wrong) but to preserve the effect place it in a PC box then take it out then start training again that way you have pokerus all the way up to level 100.

thanks for the tip. all the pokemon i have in my party right now dont have pokerus anymore. But if what your telling is true. then i should have a extra pokerus pokemon somewhere in my PC. So if i add him in the party then i will regain pokerus for all the pokemon that use to have pokerus?

So the Smile doesn't do anything except show that the pokemon had the Pokerus?

In my experience, it is not 24 hours. It's just whenever the game hits midnight, the virus has a good chance of going away in 1-3 days. So you should preserve it in the PC with a dummy pokemon or at least deposit your team in for the night to have PKRS last forever.
