    =O! *gasp* I never thought I would be able to make my own banner! But with the help of Paul (StarArion) I did! ^__^ I am pretty proud considering it is my first banner, please tell me what you think and how I can improve! Who knows, maybe someday there will be an origin banner shop near you! xD;;

    Wow, thats pretty good for your first banner, Julia. ^o^ A nice black border would help it though, and a different font for that one is sort of like, um, scratchy. XD *couldnt think of a better word* But other than that its great. ^________^ I hope you continue~!

    ^^-; I wasn't sure what font to use... I have heard I should add a border, Alex, but I'm not sure how.. Sadly.. And Karli, I wasn't too sure what font to use, or what color font. ^^-; But hopefully I'll get better, and I'll defienetly continue! xD;; ~origin

    I used Photoshop Elements 2.0, which I'm not sure if it has anti-aliasing, but maybe. ^^; I should look. ~origin
     
    oh, PSE is the same as normal PS. not sure exactly what the format is on Windows tho, i have a mac.
     
    The banner looks good in my oppion, just the text needs a little working on. But then again I'm not all that good on texts too. Like in my current banner. But anyways, overall, I like the banner. Good job, keep up the good work. :rambo:

    A border and some better fonts would make it even better. Great job for your first! ^^

    Well, I anti-aliased the font on my latest banner, and it looks a lot better. ^^; But I'm not too sure on how to make borders. *sigh* Thanks though! ~origin

    Hmm does elements have the option for inner stroke? If you can't, then...
    1) Make new layer, and fill with colour. E.g. black.
    2) Use the rectangle selection tool to select a rectangle.
    3) Cut off so that you're left with only a 1 pixel border.

    If you have problems with the size, then try this.
    Make a new file 2 pixels smaller. For example, if your picture was... 400 by 100, you make a new file that is 398 by 98. Then, you fill in and copy + paste back to your original file. If it is centralized, you should see the black bits all around it right?
    Then, you use the magic wand tool to select that rectangle, and you have the area you want to cut out ^^
