    I was looking at HotS threads, and I see that some of the posts are just saying that they're great. I find it kinda spammish that way.

    My question is: is it acutally spam if they just say "I like it"?

    I know it isn't really breaking rule, but the posts seem kinda short that way, and I'm used to "short and no real point = spam"
    I'm not trying to report anyone or look good in asking this, I just really want to know. O_O;; (I guess I just want to see if it is and if something can be done about this if it's really spam, like an official rule or something.)

    I'm used to having to say something good about the art (blame SPP art rules for that XD), so it's kinda odd to see alot of "good job" or "I like the sprites" kind of posts. Some ask questions, but even then the reviews seem short. oO;;
    I also think that its not helping much, except maybe to boost some ego and give confidence.

    uh, thanks if you answer this for me. I know it's kinda odd, but oh well. I'm just curious. ^^;
     
    I think it's spam, and I do try to discourage it. I'll add a rule to the rules thread, so if someone does that you can tell them it's spam and to read the rules.
     
    but THAT would be midi-modding, and that is bad. XD

    while I'm here, another question: it's not clear, is double-posting when no one has replied to the thread (before it's a month old) legal? Most forums are like that, but it's left me confused here. ^^;
     
    If you want to keep using the thread to post your sprites, then it's fine.

    With all the showcase threads in Art, Sprites, TCards, and fanfiction, it's alright to double post if you want to post new work. I think there's something in the main forum rules, isn't there?
