ADMINS: I thought this would be the best place to put this thread. If you think it's in the wrong place, please move/lock this thread as needed.

So, I made this thread so you could tell your tales, of what has happened to your pokemon games in the past, whether it was in water, and it still works, or if you just found one on the side of your street. This is the place to tell us your stories about this thing.

One weird thing that happened to me once, is that I went to school or something with my Sapphire pokemon game, and it got stolen (this is when LeafGreen and FireRed were out). This was some time ago, but now, I have teo LeafGreen games. I think it's weird because everyone I know with the LeafGreen game still has theirs with them, so I don't know why I have two of them.

lol once i left my SP and Ruby by accident at a gas station were you get the smooties...

i never saw it again (and I was in the middle of catching the regis at like 8 years old! SUGAR RUSH!)

I found a copy of Red while I was walking to school about 2 years ago... It still works now!

    Ummm....:\
My Yellow went all blocky once XD. My older brother told me it would 'work' if I put it under the tap (it wasn't working for some reason) and everything went blocky. It couldn't save either :\ It works though! XD

I lost my Yellow cartridge, and I'm 100% positive it was in my own house. (I didn't play my GBC anywhere but home until I was about 12 xD;)
That was about 8 or 9 years ago. It never turned up, and we've cleaned the entire house thoroughly at least twice since then.

I lost my Leafgreen a couple years ago. Then, last year, when I was buyin' another Leafgreen for my friend, I bought the exact same game that I've lost! :O

    I know because my Charizard was named after me. Also, the Cleffable was named <3 Khmer. ;-;

I remeber once I lost my game boy adavnce with my pokemon ruby in it on my birthday, I knew where I put it but when I went to check there it wasn't there. So my mum searched the full house for it with me but we never found both of them. It just disserpeard from thin air!

    Crissy xX

I remember one time I was trading with someone at recess and my Ruby fell out of my pocket.

I thought it was gone forever and I started to get sad but then I see it laying on the ground a couple of feet away. Nobody can imagine how happy I was.

My friend had his Crystal Version go through the washing machine with his jeans. It still worked perfectly, except that it wouldn't save.
My brother once lost his Saphire Version a couple of years ago... I think it turned up the other day when my best friend was playing it. He got it from our other friend who once stayed the night at my house a couple of years ago... No save file to prove it though. I don't mind having a game stolen quite so much as the fact that it had our Typhlosion from Pokemon Colosseum on it.

I left my beloved first Ruby in my SP in a hotel in St. Louis when I was in the 8th Grade. I was mad because they said they found nothing in there but I know it was there in a bag so dont trust the hotel workers!

A long time ago, at my cousin's house, my cousin's 2-year-old neighbor got a hold of my Yellow cartridge somehow and chewed on/drooled in it. It didn't work anymore after that.

Much more recently, after I moved to my current apartment in September last year to escape all the stupidity of student housing and being moved around all the time, I realized I couldn't find my Sapphire version, so either it's gone for good, still hiding in a box or something (or a void), or at my friends' apartment which I no longer visit. I gave up on it a month or two after and bought Emerald, though I still miss all the Pokemon I had in that game and all the hours I put into it. TT^TT

I lost my Ruby game in my house and i didn't
know i lost it until I moved houses.
    LOL
I found it in a drawer but I lost it again when I stopped playing it

I had a LVL 100 PICHU! LOL i used my friends gamshark.
I had all the legendaries possible without trading with otther
    pokemon games.
    I loved it soo much

but that was about when I was 8 or 9

I got Pokemon Blue the year it came out here in the UK, I have played the game for hundreds of hours on many saved files. It went in the washing machine, it's been through a lot and still it works to this date.

Also I remember on my Pokemon Red, that my Blastoise vanished.

I just buy Pokemon Red with my own money and then my aunt came and brought me Pokemon Red also =P and then when one of friends borrow pokemon Firered to me and a couple of months I forgot all about it, so I buy another one and then my friend just return it to me. lol

I had a legit Mew on my LeafGreen version. Mew is my favorite pokemon so I was ecstatic to say the least when TRU had the promotion. I also had my first shiny magnimite on there. Well my boyfriend decided he wanted to play around with it and Pokemon Colosseum. Well either Colosseum was messed up or our versions were not legit it erased my game. NO! My beautiful Mew and Magnamite were gone forever!

Needless to say I feel into a slight depression that night. Cried for my lost Mew. I ended up going on eBay and buying about $50 worth of Mew items. It worked out in the end though as I know how a fantastic Mew collection taking up a whole coffee table in my living room.

    Let's see...

I somehow chipped the lower left corner off of the side of my Sapphire, and the game clock mysteriously stopped moving. Was funny coming back a month later to find my berry trees were all still there at the sam growth stage. Another two months or so later I turned it on and I found the game clock was working again, my trees were all long dead and gone. D:

yeah, my Sapphire's plasic part got broke off but it worked perfectly fine. xD

and my friend's Ruby was experiancing the Berry Glitch. xD (he and I traded temorerily but then he, apparently, moved away so we still have each other's games. xD {I miss Dusty-Kun... D=} {I keep it in a VERY safe place.})

I got my yellow version from my friend in exchange for a tiny pocket dictionary...
    Weirdest trade I've ever made...
