i normally give a lvl 5 ratatta a Focus band and the moves
Endevour
quick attack
....Dont need the rest
...." "

A higher lvl will almost kill giving it 1 hp. endevour will also bring the other pokemon to 1 hp. Quick Attack will then pwn the 1hp pokemon

(sorry for bad grammer im not good at it =( )

You do realise that's like, the most commonly used strategy in gaming?

And it has a name, bud. F.E.A.R.

As for me, I don't have one. I just do w/e the hell I want and hope to win.

lmao the opponent would outspeed it.

Lv 100 Raticate ftfw?

Nah, u see, Quick attack always hits first so unless the other pokemon uses extremespeed, mach Punch etc. The Ratatta will always kill the 1hp pokemon

A few different things I like to do to completely trash my friends who are n00btastic.

1) I will sometimes get my awesome EV trained Weavile out and use swords dance. Once my Weavile has it's swords dance enabled, it whipes every Pokemon on my opponents side. It was funny to watch my friends jaws drop.

2) I learned alot from Shoddy Battle when I used to do it. My online friends taught me how to battle properly. I learned to use Pokemon like Breloom & Lickilicky. Breloom is fantastic because it can use it's spores to send the opponent to sleep. Then it can move onto a killer move that finishes the opponent. Lickilicky was great because it knew the move "Curse" which made its stats go through the roof. From there, it whiped all the others.

So, my best advice in battle strategies is to use stat boosters as they really do make a shocking difference to your battle.

XD Ithought of the Rattata in my own and thought it was original. I also gave it Sucker Punch for Ghost types. And Toxic for other occasions.

On 2 vs. 2 I've considered using Follow me on Togekiss and Using Amnesia/Iron Defense/Agility on Gorebyss until I can Baton Pass it to Tyranitar. Then after Togetic's KO'd I bring out Latias and sweep from there.

Well if im fighting a Slaking i always get a pokemon with protect and just attack when he is loafing around and protect when he attacks me the it almost always works and i also like this one for a scisor

Swords Dance + Bullet Punch + Life Orb x Technician x STAB boost =

My Raichu is a death trap for Ground tipe pokemon.

It's move set is
Grass Not
Magnet Rise
Thunder Punch
Volt Tackle

I often teem it up with My regigigas and it know earthquake

My Strategy is variety.

I ahve over one-hundred Different Lv.100 Pokemon between all my 4th Gen Games (English Pearl, Japanese Platinum, Japanese Heartgold, and Japanese Soul Silver).

I take the Smogon standards for some of my pokemon, while some of my own unique sets for others. All are EV Trained and have Proper Natures/Abilities.

I avoid **** Pokemon like Regigigas and Delcatty, but at the same time use Dunsparce and a FREAKING MALE COMBEE.

My strategy, at risk of revealing too much, features a Smogon Standard Status-Support Gallade, a Heatran, and a Metagross, which I refuse to give the details on. Heatran and Metagross are both custom EV'd and given unusual movesets for some variety.

I now use my dream team of:
Charizard, Salamence, Tyranitar, Feraligatr, Sceptile, Pidgeot

Well I don't really have a technique in battle, but I know a good one.

Lock on + Sleep powder + mean look + sheer cold or any other OHKO.

My strategy is a secret. It's basically untouchable

then Don't bother posting about it!

I said strategy STRATEGY!!!!!!!!! not your pokemon team/party (what ever you prefer)

My last strategy is Machamp with Noguard abillity team up with a pokemon that know a 1 hit ko move.

Now please lock this thread.

I like to use Ninjask to speed up my Tyranitar, passing a Sub and Swords Dance if it can. This makes Tyranitar not only incredibly powerful, but fast. Also, it gets up Sandstorm for my SS team.

Double battle: Graveler + Haunter. Graveler uses Earthquake. Haunter uses Confuse Ray on the most threatening opponent.

^^^^
I love that one too :D

My strategy is to use a wide range of attacks to get super effective hits on almost any pokemon.

For example: Gengar with Thunderbolt, Dark Pulse, Energy Ball, and Focus Blast.

This works alright in teh battle tower, however I think i'm going to get my butt kicked in a Wi-Fi match :D

Sunny Day + Solar Beam.
When Sunny Day is in effect Solar Beam doesn't need to be charged. Solar Beam becomes a one move turn. Works fantastic with Magmortar. (That's beccause I use Magmortar with this combo.

This Post will Make Competative Battlers Cry

Hehehe, my strategy is insane, half-predictable, "hax" based, and breaks the species clause. Of course, this is only my double battle "strategy", as I have yet to make an even halfway decent single battle team.

Anyways:

First I send out a gimick physical Porygon2 with Sharpen, Return, Facade, and Recover, paired with a Choice Scarf-Z, which I replaced the Choice Scarf with a Chople Berry because it never came with one when I traded it (and there is no way in heck that I'm going through the battle tower 50 times just get that stupid peice of cloth.)

Most players will pick out Z as the biggest threat and attempt to send out their Lucario or Electrivire at it (hence why I have the Chople Berry) while 2 spends the first turn setting up. Meanwhile, Z blasts the target with whatever attack will do the most damage, hopefully crippling it in some way.

If there's some chance that the player is "smart" and trys to Toxic on 2, then they're in for a load of trouble. Sharpened Return hits Blissey's weak-point for massive damage, and Facade hits even harder.

If by chance either 2 or Z faint in battle, then I send in Defensive Duck, the flagship of Porygon2, statusing foes and recovering blows, blasting apart Heatran like a peice of brittle iron being hit with a sledge hammer weilded by Chuck Noris, instiling fear and confusion among my foes. If all else fails, and my second champion falls in battle, then I send in my ultimate weapon.

the feared Hypergon 2 of early DP, who then procedes to Nasty Plot and Hyper Beam the target into oblivion, all while charged with the Life Orb. And if that fails, I better pray that Physical2's Quick Claw kicks in and saves the day.

...

See, this is why you don't see me in Shoddy (that and, I don't know how to set it up. Shoot me.)

Machamp that's ability is No Guard and knows Dynamic Punch.

Works everytime. ;)
