I've been listening to some really depressing music, like Jewel and Shakira, It's good for me though.
 
=o Zanarkand Ruins background music from the FFX-2 OST.

=\ It's okay, but it kinda bugs me after doing the monkey mission, since I was there listening to it for so long, rofl. I really do prefer all the music from FFX over the music from X-2. @_@
 
I don?t think the stuff in X-2 is nearly as good, then again it isn?t composed by the usual FF composers. @_@; Some of it worked, but a lot of it didn?t fit the places it was put, especially after X?s scores.
 
I'm currently listening to "Mother 2?Gigya's Counterattack [Because I Love You]" and "Mother 2?Gigya's Counterattack [Eagle Land]" from Game Music Concert 2 ~Live Best Selections~ and performed by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. Mother 2?Gigya's Counterattack, for those of you who don't know, is EarthBound. Because I Love You is truly wonderful song. I love it (pardon the pun), it's very relaxing. While Eagle Land has more of bouncy beat.

I really like orchestral renditions of game music. I have three complete CDs of such (The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Hyrule Symphony, Smashing...Live!: Live Orchestra Music, Mario & Zelda Big Band Live CD) and various songs from throughout the Game Music Concert ~Live Best Selections~ series (of five).

Actually, after writing that...I think I'll put on "Pok?mon Medley" from Smashing...Live!: Live Orchestra Music and performed by New Japan Philharmonic. I don't like the R/B/Y section of this song but I like the G/S/C section. I'll just wait it out.
 
Mmhmm... ._. I like Besaid's for example, since it's all calm and whatnot and it reflects the surroundings, but then you go to the Thunder Plains bgmusic and it's like... what the..? o_O; It doesn't fit at all. And it pisses me off. (Listening to that for, like, 4 hours straight can't be good for one's mind. I'm doomed. XD)

Oh, and for the record, I'm listening to the Thunder Plains background music now. =o

^_^; It's the first ending theme to Angelic Layer... I love it~! I'm was mad because my DVDs cut it out all the time, and I couldn't find it anywhere, and.. and.. then I found it. oO; I'm probably getting the first AL soundtrack on Saturday anyway, though. XD

Taking back Sunday is one of the greatest bands invented by man!!

Matchbook Romance is the best band ever though!! Its an awsome band that not many ppl know about. Go to kazaa and download lovers& liars, My eyes burn, Promise,and Tiger Lily!!

I love Dashboard Confessional too, but Vindicated gets old after your 46165th time listening to it! Other good songs are A night out AND Again I go unnoticed.

Rock/Emo is the best! Is anyone going to Vans Warped Tour 2004?

i hate when people get mad when bands become "sellouts"

as for my i couldnt give a care if theyre sellouts or not if theyre music is good who cares if theyre sellouts grrrrrrr.... sorry i had to get that off my chest

im listening to Franz Ferinand and Autopilot Off THEY ROCK!!!
 
Hahahaha. I couldn't help but laugh at the last couple posts. Sorry, but I'm laughing it up.

People have a right to be angry at "sellouts". If they like a band, and are proud they haven't "sold out", then they can be angry. What you should be angry about is people who base what they like on whether they've "sold out" or are popular now. That's pretty stupid. There are a lot of threads like this throughout the years.

And to Brittany, most of the bands at the Warped Tour can be considered "sell outs". Personally, I can only stand a few bands there, so I won't be going.

And whenever bands become sellouts there music gets worst too. Because the songs originally came from life experiances and good times. When they become sellouts their music is is just a bunch of words made to rhyme and go with the beat of a song. They just make the song to get money thus they usually suck and sound gay as crap.

Mrr... I could care less if someone is in it for the money. As long as their music is good, I'll listen. I'll only buy CDs if I really like the band anyway, so... meh. ;_; I want to go to the Vans Warped Tour, though. If only to see Billy Talent in concert. God, I love that band.

Anyway... I'm listening to Stay With Me (Unlikely) ~ Celldweller
