The Mars Volta - Drunkship of Lanterns

Saw these guys back in August and they were incredible. This song is 7 minutes long and when they played this live, they played half the song, went off on 10 minutes of improv, and then finished the rest of the song. It was awesome. :P Highly recommend this band.

When I first heard the intro to Shake by the Ying Yang Twins featuring Pitbull, I was like, "Wtf?" But then I heard the beat, and I became addicted to it.

I assume this is going to be another rhythmic song students at my school will become addicted to and it will probably get old, based on how the instrumentals are.

But until that time, I'm just going to listen to Pitbull speak Espanol while the Ying Yang Twins rap in their weird voices. "Shake, shake, shake..."

Talk about dissing Gucci Mane...

I'm listening to Stay Strapped: Diss to Gucci Mane by Young Jeezy. The reason for the diss was because Gucci Mane wouldn't let Jeezy put "Icey," a song that featured Jeezy but was by Gucci Mane, on his album.

The lyrics are quite funny. He really messed with Gucci Mane on this one, especially with the line, "King of Decatur? Thought you was from Birmingham..."
