...seems the bickering is over. I'll post now, okay?
That Political Compass test was a little misguided and often forced you to make extreme decisions on one side or the other, but it did happen to place me right around the place I figured I was, if not a little more liberal that I truly am. It's my belief that you can't endorse every facet of your political party and still be a free-thinking human being. Hence why I'm not a "bleeding-heart" liberal.
Oh, and being close to Ghandi doesn't mean you're necessarily in the right place. Sure, he was a remarkable being, but his political views might not necessarily work in the modern day. If you truly believe in all his views, then the world as you know it today would be a vastly different place... and you may not like it. That being said, being close to Hitler or Stalin isn't necessarily that bad either. While the racial beliefs held to those people might be a little extremist, let us not forget that the word, "communist" did come from the word "community;" people working together to achieve a suitable society. In essence, your political stance can't really be "wrong." So, I never really see the point in arguing it unless you're on a political platform and you're trying to get votes.
