I'm unimaginative, used my real name Sophia.

My rival's name is Bubbles, makes him sound all tough and manly like. :D

If I ever find my Heart Gold I will start playing it.....

I'll name myself J.D. and my Rival Silver. It just woouldn't be right if I didn't name him Silver.
 
What I Named Myself

On my Soul Silver Version I named myself Amber, and my Rival Rogue. My Pokemon are named after their color, for example my Pidgey is named Brown, and my Rattata is Purple. I will have to rename them when they evolve.

I don't own SS/HG, but on my Silver cartridge where I have a 10 year old savefile (I never restarted it) my character is named Oscar (one of the default names), My Rival is named Gary, and the only pokémon I renamed on my team is Red Devil, a Scizor.
 
I give myself my real name(ahh... i always do that...)
My rival is named Silver
My cyndaquil was called....CYNDAQUIL(well, now it is TYPHLOSION)
i don't like nicknames...

Name: Amaris(My real name)
Pokemon: Lugh the Totodile
Rival: Paul

HG: Boy
Name: Baruch(After an Irish warrior I read about)
Pokemon: Inferno the Cyndiquil
Rival: Paul(I couldn't come up with a better name for him)

I chose different genders for no apparent reason, only because I've never been a guy in any of the pokemon games I've played. It works though.
 
I named myself Milo; after my Puppy.

My rival I named Sash. He was my hardcore, badass neighbor. Oh how I miss the good 'ol times :D

I don't name my Pokemon. I used to. Probably because I usually just nickname them with a 'y' on the end.

i named him red cause of his red hair and of corse there is the character in the game named red.

Pokemon - Same as the origional
