4th Gen What do you hate about Platinum?

I absolutely hate how much they buffed up the E4, although a harder E4 would be cooler later in the game. Not the first time though. Seriously, that Yanmega Aaron has is CHEAP. And Cynthia is way to hard compared to the rest. AND, Giratina was too hard to catch.
Yeah! Yanmega was faster than all my pokemon! I finally beat it with Piloswine's Ice Shard. Always goes first ;)
And Cynthia makes me want to kill myself. It makes no sense why she would need to by SO DARN STRONG!!!

Stupid Giratina. Made me waste my Master Ball after 30 Ultra Balls and some Timer balls and dusk balls ;___;

Well it's not entirely Platinum's fault, but, from Soft Reseting too much, I've now broken my R button.... yeah... it sucks, now I have to turn it off and on... *Sighs* Or I'll wait to get the New DS thats coming out around April...
I also don't like the Peliper sprite.... but thats nothing new, since I hated it before Platinum, and I still don't like the abundance of Zubat/Geodude. Grr...

:laugh: i can't help it. seriously, i'd say that almost 90% of people complain that some of the Pokémon games are easy, and as soon as they make one that's challenging, everyone starts to complain. you know what? imho, i love the fact that they made it more challenging. it might get a majority of you to actually start considering strategy a bit. i'm only to the sixth badge, but i've been having no problems yet.

but to answer the op's question, there's really nothing i've found that i can say i hate about it yet. i love it! :D

It gets hard AFTER you've gotten all your badges, because the only way to stand a fighting chance against the E4 is to grind your pokemon for hours, and that's if you're not stuffing your back full of Hyper Potions and Revives.

It's not even yanmega's speed, if you don't one hit it your screwed. It spams double team until you can't hit it and then spams air slash so you can't attack.

And Cynthia's togekiss...

I don't really like the increased difficulty.
I'm glad it's more of a challenge than D/P, but everytime I get to a new town everybody is like 10
levels ahead of my pokemon. Which makes me grind like crazy to catch up.
Other than that I have no complaint. ^_^

I hate that they made such a big deal about how cold it had gotten around Sinnoh, so much that they even resprited the characters to look like they're dressing warmer, and they showed about 80 screenshots of the first two towns and the first couple of routes having snow everywhere, but past that point there's no snow at all, save for the town which was capped in snow in the first game.

I kind of felt ripped when I realized that the rest of the towns were basically the same, just with different buildings.

I read about that, and it kinda made me a little upset too. The only snow I've seen besides Snowpoint, was in Twinleaf Town. Also, quite a few interviews stated that many of the towns and cities would have a new layout to them. I thought this meant new roads and what not, but I guess it just meant new buildings. So far, there isn't much that I dislike about Platinum.

Oh wait. The male sprite looks absolutely ridiculous. Hence my playing as the female, if anyone ever runs into me haha. My only complaint thus far. I really hope that in some future Pokemon game, they give us more than one male and one female sprite to choose from. I don't need to create my own, I just wish we had more to choose from. DPP's male sprite would look much better without that weird scarf IMO (I know, I know, it's cold!). Done.

Seriously, WHERE THE *beep* is the snow?! "Sinnoh has gone colder", my foot! I was all pumped up by the new appearance of snow, but only Twinleaf + Route 201 + Sandgem + Route 202 contains TINY TINY specks of snow? What is this nonsense?

in the Eterna City gym, I hate running into the punching bags and waiting for them to settle down. I like to play like im in a rush so I tend to run into the bags in the wrong direction, so I have to constantly wait till they come to a stop.

and even though its not limited to platinum, I hate the amount of dialogue there is in the beginning of the game! bla bla bla, just give me the running shoes and pokedex already, and I already know how to catch a damn poke!

This isn't too irritating, but it's something else I've noticed - a lot of NPCs are using Toxic Spikes. In fact, I think it's the only thing my Pokemon have been poisoned by so far the whole game.

Stupid Giratina. Made me waste my Master Ball after 30 Ultra Balls and some Timer balls and dusk balls ;___;

You should have saved in front of Giratina then if you used all of your Pokeballs just restart your game so you wouldn't have to waste your Master Ball.

I can't really complain much about Platinum. The gym leaders are tougher, but I enjoy that more. Everyone's complaining on the fact that this game has actually become a challenge and not something that's taken care of your first try.

Wait.....that was snow? I thought all that stuff was dirt XDDDD

I'm acually not that much mad about this game being harder, It's acually a good challenge for me and I find it more fun.

As for me there are no complaints I find this game good so far intill i beat the game lol

I know this is probably sooo stupid, but I hate the 3D part of it.

Ick, the marsh mud has gotten even worse in The Great Marsh. It's very hard to move unless you can see the lighter patches, which with my DS I can hardly ever see.

I prefered the sprites in DP, i think these ones are, a little bit too reduced or something I can't tell xP. Mmmm.... I was a genious in Diamond because i knew how to catch my 2nd favourite pokemon: dratini, larvitar and beldum. Now larvitar is harder because you need a swarm. But I'm satisfied that gible can be caught earlier in the game so the previous things I said doesn't matter if it's for my gible. Forget them!

The only thing I hate is the pokemon are harder to catch just like you say.

I don't see anything to hate about it yet. The trainers are more difficult than any other pokemon game I played. I barely beat the ghost type gym leader. I only had one pokemon that could take a hit from her. What I basically did to beat her was use curse repeatidly on Grotle, since she would never go first anyways. With that, I was able to one or two hit all of her pokemon with Razor Leaf.
I completet the game in 2 days!! the trainers or gyms dont seem hard when i literally always used revives, hyper potions.ect when in battle I probably spend like 5000 money on them i would buy like 20 at a time
