4th Gen What do you think about Team Rocket returning?

Well, the new teams are going to come eventually. A remake is just postponing the inevitable Team Newgen. So I'm okay with coming back to Team Rocket, though I don't see it as a relief from the totally unoriginal slop they're coming out with these days (really, the only antagonistic organization I didn't like was Team Aqua because their goals made no sense at all - flood the world? What good will that do for you or humanity as a whole, Archie?).
 
The only team I really dislike is Team Magma, the other 3 are fine with me. Aqua was just above Magma, then Team Rocket, then Team Galactic is best. They had a real goal. I only like it when they give a really decent plot for the Team, such as Team Galactics new planet, however, that could still have been put into further detail.

Team Rockets' main goal really, is to only steal, sell, be powerful. I would like to see a game with a really good plot for the antagonists.

Team Aqua's motives did make sense..

Their motive was to create a larger area for the Water type pokemon to live. They thought that Kyogre (the god of the water pokemon?) was the key to this.
Team Maga had the same motives, to make a larger scale for Land pokemon to live. but both Maxie and Archie being Ignorant, neither wanted to back down, causing the huge catastrophe oh the world like nearly blowing up due to their fight :P

or something along those lines.

Team Aqua wanted to raise the sea level to make more room for Water Pokémon, and therefore making less inhabitable areas for land Pokémon and humans alike. At least Team Magma were trying to make more room for themselves - I'd be willing to bet it was originally just Team Magma in the third generation and Aqua was shoehorned in near the end of the planning process.

Yeah, but both teams had bizarre motives, which collided. Either way, I liked how you could help out both teams.
It was one of the better organisations.
I liked Galactics more thoughtout admins. And I liked Rocket's grunts :P
They all have positives and negatives.
 
But I'm pretty much fine with them returning. Slowpoke Tails should be more explained though O.o

I too never understood the reasoning behind this. But I suppose this is how you meet Kurt so it ties in well
 
I personally liked the Rockets better.
They were around with the first generation, so it seems logical that they stay with the rest of the following generations.
It seems right that way.

Plus it's nice to see the Rockets screw up and fumble around all the time.
I can't remember, do Jessie, James, and Meowth appear in the Jhoto series of the games?
 
I love Team Rocket. Their plans are logical, well thought-out, and have reasonable goals. Team Aqua, Magma & Galactic... not so much.

The Lake of Rage plot was easily the most interesting evil plan in any game so far, imo.

I am pretty sure they were not but I can check.

I will be replaying the Silver, Gold and Crystal again and I will post everything i rediscover about team rocket.

that'e actually almost exactly what everyone else wanted to do- magma wanted a world of land, aqua wanted a world of water, and rocket..... was rocket
also, it is way to cliche for my tastes- i mean, c'mon, how many times has that been done?
on topic- i loved the rocket in mahogany- hyuk hyuk hyuk- i love team rocket- they were fun to kill constantly

That's probably because once the Pokémon guys made one team with normal goals they'll be thinking, "Oh, we can't have another 'we wanna take over the world just for the heck of it' team because the audience will think we're recycling Team Rocket!" So you can't really complain, as the only direction they can go in terms of strange goals is out. What were the new teams going to do, sell poisoned lemonade?

I didn't hate Aqua and Magma, but they were irratating.
And thier... personality switching in Sapphire/Ruby. O_o

Ruby:
Magma: WE'RE SO EBIL!
Aqua: we'll stop you with the help of this kid!

Sapphire:
Aqua: WE'RE EBIL IN THIS ONE!
Magma: s. t. f. u. This kid will pwn you.

Cyrus had the real evil villian guy acts,
and his attitude and sense of twisted views is amazing.

A great villian, but the rest of Team Galatic can GTFO.

Whoa 0_o. I'm not dissing the other teams, I'm just simply saying that they had normal goals. You can't tell me that making a new universe is normal. X_x

But really, at least Cyrus wanted something really evil. Destroy this world for one of his own.

Funny funny funny!

Team Rocket is certainly interesting and I cant wait to see the additional storyline that I know they have in store for us.
 
I'm glad that pokemon is getting back to it's roots, team rocket was always my #1.
